Nice car, how's the gas mileage after the 3.90 rear end gear? You said 6th was more usable, but how hard is it breathing at 75-80? Hope to be in the market soon, your car is a great example of how well these cars can modified and if it's still around when I can pull the trigger I'll definitely give you a call.

Had to chime in on this one.....That Z should be fine at 75-80 on the highway....390s in that car is a blast....I have a 91 ZR1 with some nice mods and stock gearing and sixth gear is useless at highway speeds..

You want to talk about lousy gas mileage, have a 73 stingray with a worked 350, 4 speed with 370 gears..........Wish I had a fifth gear forget about a sixth gear...lol

Good luck with that silver Z.....Nice set up........ Wanna trade?

3.90s are fine with the m12.....75-80 is just over 2.2k IIRC....haven't driven it this week ......MPGs aren't really impacted too much by the gears.....the performance mods(heads/cam/IM/etc) had more of an impact since it's much more fun to drive. All in all it still gets much better gas mileage than my Tundra

For any potential buyers. I went and looked at this Z weeks back. It is "as described", ridiculously clean and well cared for. Jason is a true car enthusiast and a person who you hope to deal with. Unfortunately for me I had to halt my search temporarily.

Good luck buddy

Fine looking car and very tastefully modded. Best of luck with the sale.

OP do you go to the Great Falls Card and Coffee a lot? If so I've seen this car quite a few times and I can vouch and it is always clean and well taken care of. OPs description of the condition is spot on.
