Thank you to everyone for the positive comments and interest thus far. This is a special car that will take a special buyer to realize the value, but if that person is not out there I'm more than happy to keep enjoying it. I'm sure selling this car is something I will regret should I actually end up selling it.

That's a really beautiful car with some great mods. Best of luck with the sale.

Default NJ Motorsports Park

How did it handle at NJ Motorsports Park? I'm looking at buying or building something like this but mostly for HPDE weekends.

It was excellent on track. I did the Lightning circuit and it felt like it could've run all day. The oil and coolant barely moved and torque all day coming out of the turns, even if you were a gear too high. Plus there wasn't much passing me, even running street tires. It was a beast. Then I drove it 4+ hours home with ac listening to ozzys boneyard on Sirius.

After following the C5 market more closely it is pretty obvious that things are not awesome for sellers of highly modded cars right now. At least not awesome enough where I would ever get my asking price... although I was pretty certain of that when I posted this. I now feel $36,000 is a fair asking price for my car. Well, not really fair for me, lol, but fair considering the market and quality of my car. This car has been my passion for the past 9 years and I don't think there is another Vette as well-rounded as mine where so much thought was put into each and every upgrade and how they would all work as a cohesive and usable package.

I like what you did to spruce up the look of the HVAC head unit...can you tell us how you made/where you bought those two *****? Looks much better than the ugly/dated factory unit.

Beautiful car!

Thank you. I bought them from one of the forum vendors back in 2008, but honestly couldn't remember from where at this point. I did find them still for sale here though: https://www.corvettemods.com/C5-Corv...et_p_5607.html

And I agree, they may a nice improvement to the interior.

I picked up a C5Z with the same idea in mind, can't count how many times I've gone over your build for inspiration - definitely my favorite modded Z. If I can ever finish this damn home construction I'll be in touch if you're still looking to sell.

GLWS, someone is gonna be a very lucky owner!

I have a LS 7 C5 Z06 but without the dry sump system. For the money this car can't be beat. Had it been available when I started doing mine it may have been sitting in my driveway right now. Just no way to do this Quality of a build for $36,000.00. Someone should jump all over this deal.

I have more than a few pics of your car in my favorite C5 picture folder! Good luck with the sale of your awesome car! I had my car up for sale for the same price for a year or more I finally sold it back in July. I know the difficulties you will have with ignorant people and their low ball prices, thinking your hurting for money. Hold out and maybe that special buyer will come along like he did for me!

Again. Good luck sir!

Thank you so much for the very kind and supportive words. I'm confident at my current price there is a buyer out there. I thought it was worth 42, but the market just didn't support that price, so you have to be realistic. And like you said Mallet Z, I also don't need to sell it, just feel it's time to move on to something else.

After a lot of thought, I have decided to hang onto my car. Turning down very reasonable offers not far off my asking price made me realize I just don't have it in me to let this car go. For 50k, maybe, lol... but for what the market will currently bear... just can't do it. Thanks for all the kind words and support in this thread though, it was helpful in my choice to keep it.
