Default FS: '98 Red Coupe, 383 Supercharged 905 HP

F1R Supercharged stroked 383 Custom C5 Corvette

General Overview: This is a special car that will be highly valued by those that understand all that went into the vehicle to make is so unique. Ridiculously powerful, however still very drivable on regular pump gas. It started out as a ’98 C5, but not many parts from the original car, currently at 106,000 on the frame. The new motor, a forged 383 and supercharger combination have ~30,000 miles on them. Completely customized in almost every aspect. With only 8lbs of boost on pump gas car Dynoed at 767 hp and 640 ft. lbs torque to the wheels or ~ 905hp and 755ft. lbs tq. at flywheel.
She is one of my babies but I have to sell as it's time to buy a new house. She is in perfect running order, all fluids changed, new belt, new tires, and more. She is located in Cedar Rapids Iowa. If needed, the local Airport is nearby and I can pick you up there.

Nice looking car and has to be a hoot to drive with that much HP. Best of luck with the sale.

Yepper. Rick is a great guy and had a great C5. I've had it for four years now and have made a few changes.

pump gas car Dynoed at 767 hp and 640 ft. lbs torque to the wheels or ~ 905hp and 755ft. lbs tq. at flywheel.

767rwhp? 10% loss = 767+77=844 crank hp.
Where does the other 61hp come from?
Good lookin vette, interested, but confused.

FYI for those that may not have noticed, the wheels on this car are pretty much identical to the Mallet 396 wheel. Nice wheels for sure (as is the rest of the car)!

Most places use a 15% loss so 905hp x .85 = 769.25 hp

Like MikeyTwins said, normal loss is 15% so that's where 905 HP comes from.
