FS: 2001 speedway white Z06 - $17k - NC
2001 speedway white Z06 with mod red interior - clean title and title in hand. Located in NC (Raleigh area) -
**Lowered Price** $14,900
1 of 352 C5 Z06s produced in Speedway White (215 black interior/137 mod red interior). I now have a 3 month old at home and I find myself less and less driving it. I’ve put roughly about 800 miles a year on the car in the past two years.

HISTORY:
I purchased the car at 86k miles in 2009. Original mods from previous owners (no papers for this work)
Mods done by previous owner:
K&N Twin Cone Air Intake
Reduced restriction air bridge and coupling
Granatelli MAF
Melrose Smooth Flow Exhaust (Ceramic Coated Long Tube Headers, Random Technology High Flow Cats, X-Pipe)
Borla Cat Back with 2 S-type tips
Elite Engineering reinforced tunnel plate
Hurst Short Throw Shifter
Column Lock Bypass
Vinyl/Carpet Partition with Z06 emblem (removable)
Lowered ~1inch in front on stock bolts
Lowered ~1inch in rear with RK sport lowering kit.
Tuned by RPM Motorsports - 363rwhp, 361 rwtq
Raptor Shift light in driver door vent
Computer Aided Gear Shift deleted
CURRENT:
After I had the car for a year or so and at 105k miles on it, I took the car back up to RPM Motorsports in Garner, NC for a full go thru of the engine and a small cam. I have receipt of this work below. I had been reading horror stories about springs/valves dropping so I went ahead and took care of it and slipped a cam in while at it.
• Custom Grind - 231-235 .617-.621 113+2
• PRC Springs (.660 lift) , new pushrods
• Ported LS6 Oil pump
• LS2 Chain
• TCI Pulley w/ belt
• Gaskets
• New Tune = 415 rwhp , 4xx torque. (can send dyno chart)
I personally added 20% tint sides and back glass. Apple 3G Iphone connection to the stereo. CD player still works with this setup. (DoubleD mods on the forum here)
I also have 3 volumes of the maintenance manuals and some other things I plan to include with the sale. Picture of that will be posted.
I’ve put almost 20k miles on the car since these mods and have driven the car to work, to the beach, all around town. Car has been garage kept all its life. I have never tracked so I have no idea what it runs. Currently has 122k on the clock.
I just put Toyo R888’s on it. These have less than 200 miles on them.
Issues:
• Column Lock is flashing on the DIC. It has the recall, the bypass, and I had it programmed out. No idea why it’s still on the DIC. I have not had it checked out by a shop as it doesn’t affect anything. It usually clears out after while on the trips but can be annoying turning it on and seeing it.
• There is a small diff leak (C5 leaky butt!) – Which is common on these models. It only leaks right after driving then stops which leads me to believe a gasket of some sort bypass during driving. I have had not had this checked out by a shop as the drip is small and happens randomly.
• Passenger door does not unlock with remote.
• Previous owner was concerned about the back glass. (the trim doesn’t look good). It has not leaked since I’ve owned it during rain.
• Road rash on the inner fender wells behind the front tires.
• Missing 4 lug nut covers. I have one new in the wrapper but next owner will need to order 3 more.
With the issues, the mileage, but also factoring the rarity, I’m asking $14.9k. No trades. No tire kickers - If you want to go for ride, I’ll drive. If you have cash in hand, you can drive. Best contact right now is private message up here.

ok guys...I'm just over in Danville,,like 45 minutes from ya'll. it would be cool to maybe get all three z's together. How often has that happened,,it would be a cool picture that's for sure!

Your car is just what I'm looking for. I just moved to garner and am looking for a z06 or frc. I suppose you wouldn't want to trade for an 01 convertible mn6 with 78k on it, would you? I want a car I can take to the track, nobody local will let a convertible run without a bar or cage.
