FS NY: 2003 c5Z $22,500
For sale is my 2002 corvette z06 with only 30,700 miles, black with mod red interior. I purchased this car back in February from the second owner who got it with only 4K miles back in 2006. This car is in excellent shape for its age and has never had any paint work or accidents. And is mostly stock and has never been modified.
Only mod on this car is a vararam intake and I put 2 rear toyo proxes along with 2 front all season bf Goodrich tires. I am only looking to sell so I can purchase a c6 and I am in no rush to sell. Exterior is in good shape paint is rated at 8/10 and interior is also 8/10. Some detailing on both would make this car perfect. The only bad is when the gas tank is full it reads empty, cel popped on the other day for 02 sensors but have put some miles on it and hasn't came back on.
Any questions feel free to text or call me at 914-three16-9337 since that will be the easiest form of communication for me. Price is set at $22,500

Hey Nick,
You have a nice example of a well taken care of C5 Z06. It shows well in the images you presented and the mileage is low like you indicated. I think several people are interested but the market does not seem to be reflecting the price you have requested. With C5's being three generations old, typical corvette enthusiast want the most up to date version their money can buy. You are attempting to sell a 15 year old car at 23,800 USD and mileage alone will not appeal to all the buyers out there. Speaking for myself, your car is well taken care of but for 24K, I can potentially buy a lightly modded vehicle (wheels and bolt ons) with 40-50k in mileage and have more bang for my buck. I think your vehicle appeals to a small population of corvette enthusiast who want to preserve the original image of the C5's in their ultimate glory. If you are patient and hold out for the correct buyer, you can get the money are asking, but if you need the cash fast, I would suggest bring it down to 20,000 USD and provide shipping cost to appeal to a larger portion of the nation. These cars are popular in the Midwest and West of the nation as weather tends to cooperate more with sports cars.
Best of luck on the sale.

I see a lot of C-5 Zs on the forum that are modded and some with super chargers selling for around the same price..
Back in Nov of 14 I purchased a 91 ZR-1 blk/blk for under 20k....I modded it with about 4500 in performances mods ( who wants to drive a stock ZR-1) and now I would be lucky if I got the price I paid for it.....Car is immaculate...
Even C-7 Vettes are approaching the mid 40s for a low mileage example...Originally the car sold for around 70K I believe.
If you want to sell fast listen to the previous post.If not, hold on and you could maybe get a buyer looking for an unmolested Z...

Sorry for the late response ! I hear what you guys are saying but seeing a bunch of late 90s with some mileage on them going for the high teens justifies my asking price in my opinion. I will definitely entertain offers and take a reasonable number. I would like to sell it sooner then later since some things came up but again I don't mind holding onto it. I also have it posted on Craigslist. Will drop my price to 22,500 if that draws some buyers in. Again I've seen numerous frcs and cars with high mileage on them for high prices. Will listen to offers so if anyone's interested let's talk
