Default F/S... 2002 Quick Silver Z06, 404", F1R, RPM auto conversion. Low 9 Sec cruiser, $40k

I am posting my 02' C5Z for sale, it just turned 40,000 miles, right at 2300 miles on the new engine. My goal for this car was to build a show ready, great all around street car, with full amenities, 8 second potential and daily driveable...I have spared absolutely no expense on this car, and over $100k has passed through it. It has been an on going project for 4 years trying to improve it and build it into the ultimate C5Z.

This car has absolutely the best of everything throughout the car.. I've owned the car for 5 years, its been through various stages of upgrades/builds. This car has a lot of history here@ CF in the C5 Forced Induction section and LOT of pics/info/progress has been posted through the years. This car was originally built/tuned by the great BlownBlueZ06 (Bret) about 4 years ago, and there has been a couple of rebuilds/revamps since then and Bret has continued to help with improving the car.

I will list all of the current hardware here and a bunch of pics... For a lot more detailed data, please feel free to call or text me.. Thank you for your interest.

The car will come with the IForged wheels, CCW drag pack, and a very nice set of chrome Speedlines, all 3 sets of wheels have great condition tires. Some of the original 6 speed manual parts will come with the car, along with a bunch of other original parts including the Ti Exhaust. Car is coming with EVERYTHING....lock, stock and barrel. $40,000 for everything. There is way too many details to list here but here is a summary.

THE CAR:
40,000 miles on the car
Paint: 9 out of 10
Interior: 9 out of 10
Chasis cleanliness: 8 out of 10
Everything works, AC blows 40*, most of the usual C5 quirks have been discovered and resolved.
Brand new 19" Iforged Daytona wheels, new Toyo tires (600 miles on this wheel combo. (Also comes with a very nice 16" CCW drag pack)
Wolfe bolt in 6 point roll bar with removable door bars, RCS race harness.

19 x 9.5" IForged Daytona, 275/35/19 Toyo T1R
19 x 11" IForged Daytona, 305/35/19" Toyo R888, This is a new wheel/tire combo, only 600 miles on them, I had them custom built by Iforged. I have $5k in this combo alone and it took almost 6 months to get them.

17" CCW Classic front runners, M&H 26x7.50 Bias plies
16 x 11" CCW Classics, Hoosier 295/50/16s. About 20 passes and 300-400 street miles or so. (short trips around town)

17"/18" GM Speedlines, chrome plated by West Coast Corvettes (chrome is 100% perfect)
275/40/17 Nitto 555R, 315/35/18 Toyo TQ drag radials. This wheel and tire combo has the most miles out of the 3. About 8k miles on the front tires, 4k miles on the rear TQs.

STEREO SYSTEM
8" Alpine INE-Z928HD head unit (GPS/Bluetooth etc)
2 Alpine "stackable" amps (1-mono, 1- 4 channel)
Focal 6.5" Component door speakers
Focal 5.25" Coax rear fill speakers
10" ID sub in a VetteNutz box in the corner pocket.
Amps hidden in custom trunk compartment
This system sounds KILLER in this car.

This engine/blower combo dynoed at 900 rwhp when it had the manual transmission and a smaller 226/238* cam. I have not dynoed the new combo due to the single disc converter and RPM Transmissions recommending to NOT dyno a 4l60 trans... So it is street tuned only. The car trapped 151 mph through the air filter, on pump gas with only 15* timing when it had the 226/238* cam. I now fully expect this to be a 155 mph trap car in good air, race fuel and velocity stack on the blower. The car has 8 second potential on a good track and good air.

Soft launch, 9.22@151

The car has been 1.35 60's on slightly harder launches, still walking it out slowly. The only full power launch attempt I tried right after this vid was taken, broke an axle instantly. That was when it had Eaton 300M axles, now it has the DSS axles and "should" be able to handle the 1.28-1.30 60's its going to throw out.

Right now, the car is conservatively street tuned on 13* timing, right at 20 psi of boost and 10.4-10.6 WOT afr. The car is tuned in speed density on a 3 bar OS, 2.5 bar map, and runs in open loop full time. I would likely guess the power to be around 800-850 rwhp through the UNLOCKED converter with this conservative tune and through the air filter but that is purely a guess. I do know the car traps 150+ though so draw your own conclusions on power.

$40,000, no trades

Car is located in the Houston Tx area.
Has a clear blue Texas Title.
LOTS of receipts, paper work etc etc.

Surprised you are selling, but for anyone wanting a turn-key dual-purpose car, in superb shape, for a fair price... this is IT!

One of my forum favorites! Amazingly clean car with equally well-detailed mods! THAT is how an engine bay should look! This car is a steal at $40K!

Good luck with the sale! Wish I had the money right now!

Hey guys, I wanted to add some info to this sales ad in response to some questions I've been getting via text/email.

BRAKES
*Rotors are drilled/slotted, brand is unknown(on the car when I got it)
*Hawk HPS street pads
*In 2015 I had a dealer do a full brake system service, changed/flushed the brake fluid, including cycling the ABS module with the Tech II and flushing the module.
Brakes work perfect, stops straight, no pulling or shimmies.
*ABS module has been repaired by ABS FIXR for the common relay failure. ABS/TC works as it should.

HEADLIGHTS
*Headlights are just 4300k HID bulbs in stock housings. You do have to flip the light stalk forward for the doors to close after you turn the lights off. I tried the resistors to make the doors close and they only worked half of the time so I took them out. Resistors will come with it.
*It comes with the oem bulbs you can put back in so the light doors will close like stock.
*Both head light motors have been rebuilt with the brass gears. They are perfectly in sync and operate very well.

AC
*AC works perfect, all of the o rings have been replaced, there is one custom AC hose that we made to clear the 2" headers. Blows 40-42* in the center vent.
*Driver side AC actuator has been rebuilt and gears reclocked.
*Heater and defroster all work as new.

PAINT/BODY
*The reason I rate the paint a 9 of 10 is there is the usual/minor rock chips on the front bumper, you literally have to search for them.
*There is a small spider crack on the rear bumper cover where the previous owner said a shopping cart hit it. I was going to have it fixed but honestly, it wasn't noticeable enough for me to justify the repair. Most will never notice it if I don't point it out.
*Both of the front and rear cross flag emblems have been replaced with new GM units as the old ones started peeling and looking crappy.

MISC
*The LMC5 column lock bypass from Compliance Parts is installed and works great, no chance of getting stranded.
*I will give you tune files, config files etc for the engine, the HPT Pro cable/interface is mounted inside the console and will come with the car...No fumbling around with tuning cables. I'll also give you a HPT license credit.
*All of the instructions, software and tune files for the transmission are coming with it. The transmission has about 8,000 miles on it, works flawlessly, drives really nice and mild around town, until you nail it.

As it sits, you can hop in, drive it and enjoy, its tuned VERY safe(Mid 10 afr, 13* timing, BE8ES plugs, lots of meth)...and LOTS of room for more power just from more aggressive tuning. There is probably another 100hp waiting in a more aggressive tune up.

If anyone has any more questions, please feel free to post them here or text/call me.

Thank you!

Yours has always been one of my favorites as well....I love big nasty NA power....

Tough market these days for selling a C5Z, the market is flooded with "built" Z06s... Its advantageous for the potential buyer to research and be informed of the level of the build. Definitely does cost a lot of money to build em right.

I'm not usually an auto guy but this build is great. If I don't find a car within a reasonable time I'll be in touch. I wonder how much RPM would charge to switch this to a tr6060 setup?
