Yes that's my beloved (low buck thread) Black Beast, that first eBay bid seals the deal, the minimum is met..she's sold!!
..my fingers are crossed on a strong auction sale..less than 24 hrs to go..
Then I'll start paying off my new-to-me Pewter '99 'vert..I spent a lot to get the car, but I think with only 56K on the clock it will be a much better investment for me.
Over time I did put a lot more dough into the Black coupe than I probably should have, but I'm getting a good chunk back. The drama and fun factor wasn't too bad either. Plus I learned a lot.
I just got a the point with that car that I did not want to invest anymore into it. I had been thinking for awhile that my restoration efforts and cash would be better spent on a low miler car. (and a Convertible as well)
Then I saw my Pewter '99 at a price that looked reasonably good and located at a dealer that could get me financed..I spent $14,500 for the car and of course I got stuck for the inevitable "fees" including interest on my (less than perfect) loan added another couple K to the total tab, but what the heck it's only money.
I've already started to cherry out my new 'vert, she's already gotten one new headlight motor, new exhaust tips and the perfunctory crossed-flag chrome plate, a few more small repairs and accessories are needed and I already ordered those radiator support fang protectors..so the new adventure has begun..
I still feel some sentimental attachment to ol' Blackie (sitting forlornly in my carport) I swear the hi-mile car in some ways feels more comfortable and broke in than the new kid..but blackie has has to go to make room for the new Platinum Babe.

Nice! I followed some of your tribulations with the black one. She certainly found a good owner when you bought her! Hope the vert treats you well.
Do you still play in Boulder City? I go through there on the way to Vegas every once in awhile. Where do you play and what nights?
I may stop in and take in the show.
Congratulations!

Well damn she didn't sell after all, I got a cold feet (the old heart attack excuse) buyer who backed out 4 hrs after the sale, a big no-no on eBay.
I will be re-listing the black beast.
Only steady gig I have right now is a Jazz Breakfast show every Sunday morn 9am-Noon at a very cool place called "Chilly-Jilly's"
it's right on Nevada hwy coming into Boulder City. Great food and Sax
