Default WTB C5 in NJ/NY/CT

Hey guys I'm new to this forum and in the market for a C5 preferably in tri state are of NJ/NY/CT as I am located in Paramus NJ. I've been looking here and on craigslist for a few weeks now feel the sellers here are more genuine and maintain their cars better. I'm looking for a manual transmission, removal top car in mint/good condition. My budget is $15k. Please let me know if you have anything.

I have my 2002 Torch red coupe with removable targa top for sale in South Jersey. Mint condition, but it's an auto. Asking a little higher than $15,000 but my # is 609-234-1964 if you'd like to discuss. This is a weekend cruiser/ car show car, well maintained.

Hi, thanks for letting me know, i'm told the corvette clutch is heavy and i'd be better of in a automatic. But the joy of driving, for me, is in a manual transmission and this is going to be a weekend car. Plus i don't want the wife driving it ever! haha.

Ha! I hear you, but my wife just talked me into buying a c7 with a 7 speed manual. so she'll be driving it occasionally. Gotta keep her happy you know?
Thanks, and good luck

Since you ask:
Your not going to find a "Mint" condition C5 coupe for 15 grand... so yes bump that up to 18 to 20 grand for a low mileage C5 coupe since you said removable top.

For 15 grand you will find on this board high to real high mileage C5's

I own a 2002 Z06 low mileage and they resale on this board from 22 grand to 30 grand or should i say that is the asking price for most selling on here. I wouldn't sell mine ever though

So bump up your buying price if you want a good clean C5 coupe. And search the internet everywhere.. You can have any car checked out at the Chevy house for mechanical check ups. Cost for getting a car checked out is anywhere from 100 to 250 depending if you know the Chevy house.

To add there are not many "MINT" condition used Corvette's around at all.. there's always nicks, scrapes or non perfect interiors so mint is rare to find. Those cars are rare and expensive.

Good luck on your search!
