Back in the market for another C5 track car. Prefer a Z06 but I am open to coupes and FRC.

Looking for a reasonably prepped car. Big brake kit, oil/trans coolers, etc.

I have my '97 coupe up for sale that I think would fit your needs pretty nicely. The car has quite a few upgrades to make it reliable on the track, including z06 brakes and suspension. The clutch and slave cylinder have also recently been replaced and upgraded. All the work was done by Danny Popp who is the guru on Corvette track cars and upgraded this one in stages with a focus on reliability. It does not have the oil cooler you are looking for I think it's not far off from being a dedicated track car.

I have a 2002 Z06 dedicated track car I'm considering selling. Texas car w/custom-built LS3-based dry-sump stroker motor, 520rwhp/525lbft; detailed build info available. Recently rebuilt SPEC clutch. Suspension completely re-done for track; Pfadt bars, Hypercoil springs, poly bushings, Penske double-adjustable shocks. Cobra IMOLA seats, Schroth 5-point harnesses, Hurst shifter w/Hardbar delrin C5R shift ****. Three sets of CCW Classic 3-piece wheels w/Hoosiers. Too much "other" stuff to list. Might sell to afford new Z06. Looking to get $35K for everything. Can provide details if interested.
