Default 99 FRC 408 A&A Built Trans/Diff L5 Fenders...

1999 FRC
Located in Boiling Springs, SC
Current Mileage - 116,4xx Miles
Price - $32k (Comes with Both Sets of Wheels and Extra 03 Z06 Torque Tube)

Car runs amazing on the street with the power/gear/tire combo and is only on 6lbs of boost. Never been to the track and has never even been launched on the street.

Turns heads constantly and gets compliments every single time I drive it.

I have receipts for parts and from where I had all major work done. Engine build/install, trans build/install, diff build/install, A&A install, etc.

I DO NOT have to sell, but wifey mentioned a C6 so those thoughts have been going through my head. If it doesn't sell, I will gladly keep it and continue enjoying it.

Now for the good stuff...mods and pics!

Idle clip and short walk around added. Sorry for the dusty fuel rail covers and engine bay. She had been sitting in the garage for about 3 weeks with the hood up and not under the cover like she should have been.

Not sure why a C6 would lure you away from this car. You should be able to pull a stock C6Z pretty easily and it certainly looks better than most C6s.

Nice car and GLWS.

I love this car to death, but like a lot of others I tend to get bored with stuff and wouldn't mind having a change. The building process is always fun and I wouldn't mind building a C6.

If I were to move into a C6 it would be a widebody (would love to have a ZR6X car), built with a blower or maybe turbo so not like I would sell this just to get in a stock base C6 and be happy. And yes the car pulls away from a C6Z with ease.

With that said, if the car doesn't sell I'll gladly keep it and probably add big brakes, DSS couplerless shaft to the 03 Z06 torque tube I have, twin disk clutch, more fuel (maybe E85) and turn up the boost.

Thanks

It does. I made it. Cut it, polished it out and then cut a jake emblem out of carbon vinyl and stuck on it. I didn't feel like paying between 50 and 100 bucks for one. Lol

Nice ride. What kind of temps do you see with the stock rad on that setup?

Thanks man. In the summer when it was around 95 outside the car would run between 195 and 200 cruising with the a/c off. With some spirited driving and pulls it would climb to maybe 205-210 and then come right back down. With the a/c on it would climb to around 225 cruising but I never use the a/c and always just have the windows down. This is on coolant with a bottle of water wetter.
