Default 2000 C5 Convertible 56,500 miles

2000 Corvette Convertible
SOLD-SOLD-SOLD

I purchased this Corvette to make sure I would enjoy the Corvette owner experience before sinking significant funds into a new Corvette. Suffice it to say I’m hooked and will be letting go of my first Corvette. It is and has been a great first Corvette. Here is what Road & Track had to say about the value of the C5 in 2017. http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-cult...s-to-buy-2017/

Everything works as it should – Electric seats(2), Memory seats-Drivers, Lumbar support – both seats, Dual climate control, HUD, Cig lighter and aux power outlet, etc.

Since buying this car I have added the following:
• New Convertible top installed 07-16. Shop spilled on original top and replaced it free with Ecklers top. Receipt to new owner.
• Rebuilt both seats with new foam and installed new custom 2 tone seat coverings. The original seat coverings will go to the new owner.
• I have replaced all defective air bags for the lumbar supports with new heavy duty bags and all work properly in Drivers and Passenger seats
• New Panasonic Stereo Head unit with SiriusXM ready, Bluetooth, iPod/iPhone ready, hands free cellular and MP3 compatible. I also had a new amplifier and speakers installed for a high-quality sound with modern day features. The original Bose system and speakers will go to the new owner. Also the 12 CD changer will go to new owner
• New high flow air cleaner, OEM filter and box to new owner
• New lamps in Headlights, brights and fog lights with the brightest non-HID lamps available.
• New Interstate battery (10-16)
• LED lighting in all interior lights and on backup/license plate.
• Both Daytime Running lights have been replaced with new bulbs
• Installed grill over lower air intake area to keep out plastic bags etc and keep clean air to radiator.
• Fluids changed – Brake, Oil, Coolant.
• Front tires are 7 months old and rear tires are 3 months old, all in excellent condition. All 4 come with Discount Tire Road Hazard warranty
• Replaced rear deck lift struts – keeps trunk lid open
• “Corvette C5 flags” cover for inside of rear deck lid
• Insulator in center console to keep heat down – works great!
• 2 cup holder installed
• Steering lock bypass installed and operating properly – no DIC messages
* Matching Metallic Red storage cover included

The paint and finish is a 10 with the use of only Premium products from Zaino, Wolfgang and Adams. This car commands a lot of attention while on the road and is an excellent buy. You won’t find many 2000 Corvettes in this good of condition. There are some pit marks on the front facia and that is to be expected for a car of this age. If you seek an excellent value, give this one a serious look.

Bump for new idea:
Want the car but the drive home in the dead of winter an issue?
I will store the car, covered and plugged into the charger, in my garage until you pick it up when weather is warmer - No Additional Charge

Let's hear some offers. Thanks for your consideration

I have received many requests wanting to know if this C5 is still available, thank you all for your interest. I will mark the first sentence as "Sold" and have the moderator put "Sold" in the title. If you do not see these - it's still available.

"C5 Corvette turns 20 in 2017. Right now, it's one of the ultimate performance bargains out there, but it's unlikely to depreciate too much further. Hagerty thinks now is the right time to pick up a C5 Corvette"

The exhaust is factory and only mods are radio, new seats
and high efficiency air filter. It really is a stock C5

Still got that fancy red vert?

My deal on a 1998 was canceled (priced too high 17k). Looking for something a little newer anyways. BTY, I drove an automatic and am fine with either stick or auto.

What's your best price????
