'02 Triple Black M6 Vert, VERY stock, California, $17500
California car in superb condition. This Corvette has people inspecting it, even if sitting among exotics. $17500
Adult driven; everything works; drives like new; what a way to enjoy spring and summer!
Fresh Zaino + Z6 AFTER these pics!
Miles: near 67k
All options; 15 mls from SNA (Orange Co.)
All stock except 1' upsized wheels/tires with no curb rash.
Calipers are powdercoated.
Steering wheel lock bypass installed (as precaution; common C5 issue).
Included 1-4 shift kit still in pkg.
LoJack installed.
Near-new cover included.
Clean title/older carfax.
Neither burns nor drips oil!
I admit not being a fan of the C5, but this one far exceeds what I thought the car would be, and not an old man's car. It's plenty quick w/o the reliability issues of a modified car, comfortable, quiet, has a TRUNK(!) and amazing economy. The six speed shifts easily and smoothly; the LS engine's unreal low end torque; what fun when you want. 100% of ex-C5 owners I've spoken with rue moving on to another, even C6s. Many pals have well over 200k on theirs with few issues. (Take that BMW!) Kiss my bum; this AMERICAN car is a better driving machine for waaaaaay less wallet draining!
I've decoded this.
Top looks new and tight; no looseness in original window, not a thinner aftermarket. This pic seems to show marks, but a light brushing erases that.
LLoyd's mats.
Shift **** is now nice black stock leather.
HUD not real visible here.Dust is 99% of specks in these shots.
I expect the new owner will love this car as much as we have. Every former C5 owner I've met misses the trunk space, better access to electronics by owner. Two forum members have driven this car with rave reviews, saying I'm nutz to sell!

This is a Corvette that anyone enthusiastic enough to be on this forum would be happy to own.

Ditto, but the 'downside' is that I am really enjoying the car and am more and more impressed with the work of the Corvette team! I never was a fan of this generation, but have changed my opinion of it, visually and mechanically.
Perhaps this is not the best place for sales, but the market seems awfully soft. I am well aware that there are many C5s priced lower, some a great deal so, but having bought dozens of used cars, this is one of two cars that I instantly knew were winners! I still have the other, an '89 735iL, as my initial impression was correct.
Thanks for the bump.

Well no, thanks.
I've not tried too hard and having enjoyed this beatiful ride with a new appreciation for the C5 that I, frankly, had not been a fan of. That, my friend, has changed. Of all the Vettes i have owned, this may well be the best, especially the all-around utility and performance blend.
I 'fixed' the simple resolder of the HVAC panel and am still open to a buyer, while aware that there are other cheaper, less nice options.
Most of us now that cheap cars, are not!

Advanced
GLWS but I would keep it if I were you. I hunted for my C5 Silver/red interior 6 speed manual convertible for 3 years and now have kepted her 12 and have 32k miles on her. I like the way they drive and has a lot of convenience items. Many people have asked if I want to sell her but turned them down, plan to keep it for a long, long time. Don't care for the look of the C6's and has more interior room than my C7. Again, Good luck with the sale.

Mickey, thanks. It is going that way as I get comments about pricing it too high, from 'fellows' who have not seen the car! Those who have, react quite differently as I keep my cars very nice.
I used to say I liked the C6 lines better but my experience echoes your and other C5 owners' comments. While driving it yesterday, I thought this may well be Chevy's best Corvette, with all the performance, yet a level of comfort, man-machine interface, economy and convenience above many others; another fine design balance.
After poor experiences with two newer 7-series BMW and a Lemon-Law returned 2015 Subaru Outback, I prefer less gee-whiz gadgets, as a car guy who keeps his longer than most. That wowee crap goes bad in 5-7 years, or less, but C5s offer a better balance in that area, too. The HVAC display fix, for example, was so easy.
Hell, BMW requires a dealer visit to alter most user options, not to mention repairs. The Sube taught me that lane-assist, etc. is the car nanny and like Motor Week just reported, a PITA after the initial ower's experience with it, regardless of brand.
C5s are underappreciated, IMO.

Same opinions as yourself with regard to the C5 and its electronics, sounds like you got yourself a sound one thats very well kept.
Super clean, the right guy will come along. Lots of vettes with good wax jobs, les and less with no issues that arent hacked up. Be patient it will find a home.
