Default Vette Doctors C5-A4 427SC 798RWHP 699RWTQ

We just finished up one of our latest projects this week and we are extremely happy with the results! Our customer wanted a streetable 427 with an extra kick!

So we added an ATI F1 SC and 8psi of boost! After an extensive Vette Doctor RX427 engine build, Custom 4L60E A4 "Overdose Upgrade", Custom LS1 Edit Dyno tuning exercise and mounting help from ECS (thanks Doug and Chris), we were able to conservatively squeeze out an amazing 798RWHP and 699RWTQ on out 13th pull! I was so happy, I stopped on lucky 13 and rolled her off the drums. I could have kept trying to pull the heck out of the thing to get over 800RWHP but who really cares about that .

We also upgraded the body for the customer and added a real nice rear bumper and hood. We also mounted a set of Drag Radials and added a mini-tub.

And of course we added out RX427 badges to the beast!!!

Here are a couble shots of the car and the dyno:

Dyno:

Hood: (sorry for the dust)

427SC Engine Setup:

Rear Bumper and Tub:

The Customer is still considering putting in a roll bar so he can compete in the Pro 8 this year. He is not a full time racer but somehow he has caught the FEVER!

What a combo!
a great engine and drive train built by the VETTE DOCTORS and an ECS S/C kit. It's guaranteed horse power.

Sounds like another PRO 8 contender!

You better send your dyno sheet to Steve he might want to keep his car there a little longer.

I believe the bumper has a very slight molded-in ducktail kinda wing on the top..... I think ECS put one on their 'vert a while back too. I really like the subtle look of it!!

Congrats on building an AMAZING ride. Be sure to let us all know when this car takes its maiden voyage down the track.

Doug thank you for your help on this project.
If we can get him to put a cage in it. I would love to see it run in the pro 8

And this with a nice safe easy to maintain 8lbs (no belt or fuel probs etc), very nice numbers though even with 345s he will probably be breaking the tires loose in 5th gear at speed...
