Hey Randy,
Yes thats a distributor, we are hoping/anticipating somewhere around 15-1,600 HP out of his new engine and I was worried the coil packs would not be able to keep up. I have been told they can handle 1,800 hp but I did not want to take a chance.
Being friends with the guys at JESEL has it's benifits.
Walter (head engineer) designed several parts just for this build that have not been offered previously. For instance we are using a timing belt along with thier distributor drive system. They also made us a set of lifters that at .9356 dia are the largest solid roler lifter that the block would accept after sleeving the lifter bores with a bronze liners. Betwen the dry sump oil system, mechanical fuel pump, 160# injectors, and a air/water intercooler that takes up the entire passenger seat area, I think we should make enough power to keep Alan happy for a while.
Although the build has taken much longer than expected, we are expecting to be out with the car towards the end of the season.

DAMN IT DAMN IT DAMN IT DAMN IT I would like to state that I also had this idea and when mine comes out I want to make sure everyone knows that I did not steel this idea from ya, I hate copy cats. Big props for the idea, I have been waiting for someone to do it to a Vette, I figured due to money it would be a while before mine gets going. What are the specs, I am assuming you are running a in car W2A intercooler with the intake turned around. Kick *** car man.

LOL, don't rub it in any more, I allready think I am going to be sick. My set up is a bit different and I will be using a PTE91 turbo. I am getting rid of most everything with the exception of the air, lol. I do have one question though, what size is the down pipe and where are you running it through?

Doug...my next question was going to be on the intake manifold...thought it did not look right. Now with the intercooler in the passenger seat and the intake backwards my guess is the intake pipe is going straight through the firewall? The fab work is top notch. I hope I get to see it in person sometime.
