I saw that on Tech earlier today... very impressive. I wish they would share some details other than a video, Lingenfelter usually stays tight lipped about most of their stuff. I guess the mystique is part of why people think so highly of them.

Very bad-azz!

Dayum!!! ...though the dyno curve would look strange with that wheelspin.

I saw that motor dyno tested personally in the engine dyno room. It is a beast, and that is a massive understatement. Gonna have to retrofit AWD to get the power down!

WHat you guys don't see is that LPE has a special strap system to hold high hp cars down on the dyno to prevent wheelspin. They bolt a hook onto the frame member below the differential, and run a short strap straight down to a tie hook on the floor and tighten the living **** out of it. To see it STILL spinning the tires is unbelievable!!!! Look closely at the car when the vid is done -see that there is almost zero space between the wheels and the wheelwell!!! They have that sucker seriously loaded down.

OK then what are you going to do with all that on the street with all that.

I'm convinced Nick that you want to break things and just play with your new lift!

I don't know what you guys are gonna do with that power, the more power I have, the less I can use it. I quit doing street light races after 500rwhp, and in Silicon Valley, the only place I can find to punch it with over 600rwhp is hwy280 when the road is clear.

That is one bad a@@ car, how do you street a car with that much hp, I guess the LS based engine bars is just going to keep going higher and the 500 hp guys are pretty much run of the mill now.

I agree with you guys on the limits of streetable horsepower... but the question is do we need it.. the answer is noooo....but do we want it.. the answer is YESSSSSSS....... Hey Bill, I love listening to your car idle,, man, it sounds mean and intimidating and to me better than this 1000rwhp C6.. that is one hot blue roadster.....I hope my cam sounds like yours....

Well said If I had more money than I knew what to do with I would have LPE build me a completely useless street car too . Having driven one of their vintage 427TT's it is ALMOST too much for the street... but just right, IMO

Bill
