Default STS Twin Turbo Kit DONE!!!

Finally, my hands can start to heal!

I finally finished the install today; intercooler, last minute systems checks, etc...

The sound was amazing the first time I heard the turbos spool. Friggin' sick!

I was running extremely rich at first, so the car studdered under full boost/throttle, so by the end of the day I finally leaned it out enough that it ran great, BUT I live in NY and it has been raining like crazy today, so the tires broke loose before I could really feel the power come on.

Hopefully tomorrow will be dry, and I can fine tune the car, and finally feel what 500+ rwhp feels like!

Wish me luck tomorrow

Gotta love the sound of spooling turbos! I think you find that 500 rwhp is a nice feeling, but I suspect you'll get bored with it in the coming months... and then want MORE MORE MORE!!!

Congrats on getting it done.

Congrats to the first guy to do his own install on the STS! I hope it's everything you hoped for.

If you get a chance, can you take some pics with the car on the ground, to see what the rear looks like.

Cool.

Must say alot about the instructions or ease of install/engineering quality.

Even if your experienced to get this done this quick and this easily says alot about the kit.

Default Tommy - speak up

Tommy,

Just a little detail - you have a stock 03 z06, what did you tune the car for 8psi max?

Not too much detail, I've already said too much.
