Default * * * * * * New best ET and MPH for my single turbo 9.66 at 145.7 * * * * * *

I love this f###ck^ng car ! ! ! ! ! I ran a new personal best today at the Corvette Challenge/Pro-8 at Englishtown , first pass of the day I wanted to test the track hook , I loaded the converter to about 2700 rpm , the car spun a little so I pedaled it in the 60ft , pulled a 1.46 60 and ran a 9.68 at 145 and change , 1/8 mph was 113 and change , next run I had a heads up race on a pro-tree , I tried to slow the car down to not **** off the track officials so I added about 60 pounds of fuel , launched softer at 2000rpm , pulled a 1.55 60 ft , 114 and change in the 1/8th and ran a 9.66 at 145.78 ! ! ! ! The only changes Cartek made to the car since my runs last Monday were they disconnected my boost controller which was giving me problems the last few days , and they installed a new wastegate , the 9.6 runs were made with 13lbs of boost , with a mix of 93 unleaded and 110 race gas , I weighed the car after my first run before I added about 8 gallons of gas and it weighed 3430lbs with me in it , I drove it to and from the track on my ET Street radials , Both 9.6 runs were caught on video . I just set a few new goals for this car today , stay tuned ! ! ! !

Huuuuuuuge props to Cartek for helping me out yesterday , and Huuuuuuge props to Rodney at RPM Transmissions for building my 4L60E . Can't wait for the cool air to hit the Northeast , it was close to 80F today , with a DA of around +1500ft .

I didn't look at the boost gauge on the line , too much going on , trying to cut a light etc , it's easier for me to look at rpm .

Let's see...a 9.66-1/4 mile....at that rate, how long will it take to get to Boston?

Nice going to you, and another "hat's off" to Cartek for building a 9 second street machine for you.

Congrats man!!!!

With all the power you F1 guys are putting out I almost regret staying NA. I mentioned that in a post to Julio who probably just shook his head Getting my engine back together was probably enough of a headache to last a decade or more.

Best of luck with your campaigning.

Last I knew this was a custom rear mount single turbo system built by Cartek and only used a few STS pieces such as the oil system.

If you're "slow" comment was refering to turbo lag, it's hard to have turbo lag when boost is built before the car ever leaves the line and never drops since it's an automatic. I'm sure you already knew all this since you know someone who works for synergy.com.

To say any turbo system on a C5 is slow would just be plain foolish.

Stealth... simply amazing numbers and that 1.46 60' is

I do not know anyone at Synergy.com. I have no idea what this that is. Please refrain from making said reference again regarding me, as you know it to be, totally incorrect. The people (my friends) own http://synergymotorsports.net/

I have personally had several street cars, that have run both eights and nines in the 1/4. The first one ran nines about twenty years ago. Thanks for the education. One mechanic at the shop had a 7.90 street car.

Rick at Synergy almost talks daily to Dave at Cartek and in addition to their talks, Rick's buys and sells their products.

Have a good evening. Back to regularly scheduled program.

Impressive runs Stealth! Especially on radials. What fuel pump system are you using for that kind of power? TIA.
