Default APS C5 twin turbo dyno Vid

Hi guys, Just a quick vid of the APS C5 ZO6 twin turbo Corvette on our Dyno dynamics dyno, the power and torque is very consistent around 600 whp, a genuine 250 whp gain over the stock engine, enjoy!

We were having a discussion in another therad about your kit. Your web site says the C5 kit comes with ball-bearing turbos and you stated in another thread they were standard bearings. Can you tell us which it is??

Thanks

Nice vid...love the sound of those turbos. The sound of my supercharger isn't bad either.

Peter,

I like your TT kit and I like the Dyno Dynamics dyno, too In addition to having great software I like the way you don't necessarily need tie-downs!

Again, nice stuff as usual.

Tony, you know I've been going to our local track for the past four years and never seen one Viper runing!

I think they're waiting for you to show up

Just imagine that Corvette zooming by, and people don't see any driver on the right hand side

Are the dyno figures SAE.
Reason I am asking the number for a stock Z06 on a dynojet 02 and new are around 350-355 rwhp. Your stock numbers are 375-380 rwhp. I think maybe your dyno is showing 20-25 rwhp higher than most out there.

Yes, the dyno figures are SAE corrected in both cases. The stock rwhp figure we measured on the C5 ZO6 was 359 whp, about 4 whp higher than the figure you quoted. Bottom line, the before and after power figures from the identical dyno and identical car/engine and with the identical fuel octane demonstrates the real power gain from the APS intercooled twin turbo system.

From past experience, the Dyno Dynamics actually reads lower power figures than the DynoJet. You can expect to see more gains at the same boost level once these kits hit the dynojet here in North America.

From what I've seen lately there plenty of power potential from stock cubes...............our head tech fitted high flow rear mufllers and competed a quick dyno tune, the APS intercooled twin turbo ZO6 (bone stock engine) went to 640 whp at just 9 PSI turbo pressure on 93 octane fuel.
