Jack,

With these larger 79lb injectors, I believe we could avoid having to raise up the base fuel pressure and trying to push the 63lb motrons to their limit.

Would these injectors along with your pump & harness be more optimal for a 600-700rwhp application ?

Racetronix Part # INJL79FM
Manu Part # 01D129x
This new injector uses the same technology as the Delphi Disc injectors. This injector exhibits excellent street manners given its size.
All tests run with n-Heptane (0.6855g/mL) @ 20oC (+/-1oC), 3.0 Bar (+/-0.01 Bar) (43.5PSI) , 14VDC (+/-0.05VDC), peak/hold (4A/1A) driver. Engineering data specifies a flow ratio of apx. 1.035:1 when converting to gas.
Specfications:
Static Flow Rate: 76.65 lb/hr = 9.67 g/s = 846 cc/min (+/-4%)
Dynamic Flow @ 2.5ms PW @ 100Hz: 16.88 mg/pulse +/-10% @ 2.5ms PW @ 100Hz
Coil Resistance: 12.2 Ohms (+/-0.35 Ohms) (This high-impedance injector will work with all factory ECM/PCM injector drivers)
Spray pattern: 3-Prong Cone
Body: Top-Feed EV1 Style Body
Factory fitted with Viton upper and lower o-rings
Grease supplied to lubricate o-rings prior to installation.
Dynamically flowed and grouped within 1% with Racetronix injector flow bench

Note: Injector flow rates are based on testing with n-Heptane test solvent (0.6855 g/ml). U.S. EPA emission test gasoline 40CFR86.113 (0.735g/ml) flows in most common injector designs at about a 3 to 4% higher rate than n-Heptane. A ratio of 1.035:1 can be used when converting the flow specifications above.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS: High-performance

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Top feed disc injectors use a small disc with six holes around its circumference. The disc rests on a short chimney that surrounds a metering hole. As the disc is raised off the chimney by magnetic force, fuel flows through the holes in the disc, over the walls of the chimney, and out the metering hole to form a full, finely atomized cone.

Performance advantages over pintle injectors (i.e. Ford / Bosch & Accel types) as listed by Delphi:
• The flat mating surface ensures that no excess fuel is present to evaporate and therefore, no deposits or clogging can occur.
• Compatible with alternative fuels (i.e. E85, Methanol)
• Longer service life
• High-speed disc action allows wider dynamic flow range for improved idling
• Quieter operation
• Revolutionary disc design resists build up deposits which can affect fuel flow.
• No Fuel leakage for quicker starts

The main page at Racetronix is mislabeled as low imp injectors.

How would these compare to the RC 75lb injectors that have been out for a while? When I did my turbo setup, I went with the RC's as I did not want to go to a driver box and they were the largest high imp injector available. I am now stepping up the power via a larger turbo and am curious as to if it would be worth it to make the switch or if I still need to go to a low imp. driver. Thanks in advance
