Since I have an 02, my IAT is in the MAF. I was planning on removing the MAF since I have a 2-bar SD tune. I was wondering if anyone has dealt with this issue and if so, what part# IAT and pigtail was used and how is it mounted?

Second, I have the LS2 intake and it seems that the MAP sensor just sits on top of the intake. I am concerned that it will simply blow out under boost. I am thinking of tacking the body down with some silicone, but wanted to hear if there are any other ideas.

The wires you need are the purple and tan wires. You will also need to get the pigtail and IAT sensor, I got mine from the dealer for a 97-00 C5 or 98-02 Camaro. You can also buy an IAT sensor from I think it is a Syclone pick-up if you have something to thread it into (its metal with threads). I have never seen the map blow out, but you can put some silicone on the grommet and should be fine.

I ordered the 97 IAT sensor part# 12160244 from SDparts today.

The pigtail part# is 12102620

Hopefully this will save someone the trouble of asking the dealer for the part#'s. It took them a while to find the right part# for the pigtail.
