I have read about it and it seems to be a good direction but wanted to see what was on your minds.

Thanks for all the great help at this point.

The problem with E85 is that it takes so much of it to equal the btu's of gasoline. The nice part about it is that it has such high octane. Haven't done it, but if you put enough E85 in with your NOS, you might not even have to take any timing out. If you do, it would probably be 2-3 degrees for a 150 shot.

I'm running a 100 on pump and it does fine but bumping it up is what started me thinking about e85. Thanks for the info.

I think the problem is running E85 thru the nitrous system. I don't think it will last due to ther corrosion of Methanol.

I don't think that is what he is asking. He is wondering if there is any problems spraying while running e85 as his fuel sorce. Not spraying e85.

I've only known guys running methanol with the nitrous, but I don't see why not. Go for it, just don't run out of fuel system or injector (if a dry system). I'll presume a wet system, 'cause you're probably at about the limits of the MAF already.

I believe Red99 is talking about the seals in the fuel solenoid and lines going bad due to the corrosive properties of ethanol.

I know NX has an E85 kit but I will have to ask if a regular kit will hold up to ethanol. I know the fuel system in the car will hold.

Thanks for the help

Aaron
