Drifting
I would say no, they were checking the drive train and did not had a lift at that point, so what choice do they have to lift the car up to check. I have been to the track on many occassion, wants to check something under the car and its a pain in the a88. I now got an idea, so thanks.

It is an 6.0L iron block with a 4.0 stroke Callies crank, and AFR 225 heads, along with an ATI ProCharger F-1A at 19 psi. The best 60ft so far has been a 1.29 on M/T drag radials, which isn't too bad for the transmission is a Powerglide. It takes about 1000 hp to make a 3400lb car run a 9.0 in the 1/4. Bob

Yes it is, and I highly recommend the eight rib upgrade as this kit is ready to grow with a person's quest for even more power. 8 psi this year, get bored with it, upgrade the internals of the engine and this kit is ready for 14 to 16 psi of boost! Bob

No doubt, it got up on the parachute mount and the car started to rotate to the right. It was heading for landing on top of the guardrail at this point, so we had to get out of it fast. It took out the oil pan, a arms, shocks, etc.
This was at an wheelstand event that we were invited to participate in. It was being filmed for a TV show.
The legendary Lou Satiago of Musclecar TV, shown here with Ted Garvin, was on hand for the filming of this event. We had a great time with Lou, and he went out to dinner with us afterwards. Bob
