I have been a big fan of LS-RX7 s. After the GTS sells, I have vowed to remain a vette only household'
,but I must admit that I'd love to do a TT LSX RX7...may yet happen. I just love the design and packaging of that last gen..

I've given up on going boost for my eventual LSX FD, but they are badass designs IMO. They just need a real motor pulling them.

The only way you're going to turbo an LSX powered FD, is either lose the A/C, or mount the turbo in the back. I've seen a Procharger in there, but it was a hack job, and they had to cut an opening in the hood so part of the blower could stick out. I'm against doing aftermarket hoods or losing the accessories and want to retain the factory look whenever possible. Also, I want to keep the car under 2800 lbs without getting rid of anything.

Soooo.... Once I finish my C5(she's only at the 1/4 mile mark here for what I want to do), I still have to sell off my streetport 13b, my project SR20 240sx, and build an LS3/7, then stuff it in my '93 FD. Too many projects, not enough time or money.

There she sat last year while we were finishing up some wiring/vacuum issues(and still not running right -sigh- ). Can't wait until she gets a new heart.

Any way to do a sidemount (i.e. TTI setup)...would imagine that it might (stress might...never seen the underside of a LSX FD RX7) be possible if its possible to do L-T headers.

I don't think so. No one's managed to fit a turbo in that engine bay with an LSX and keep the A/C. At least that I've heard about on v8rx7forum. We've asked Hinson about it too and they say it's not do-able.

I love my boost, but it's just not going to happen with my FD.

Earl - No AC. Flange is a T4, so you could fit a 78mm in the hole. Let us know if you have any more questions.

We built this car four years ago. It was pretty quick back in 2005-2006. It is time to play with it some more to keep ahead of the curve.

Thanks guys!

To bad you're not looking to trade the Viper. It sounds right up my alley.
