Default Pillar Gauge Pod?

Who makes the best pillar gauge pod? I am thinking about adding a boost gauge and would like one that replaces the whole pillar so it doesn't look screwed on. What are my options?

Im in the same boat, I'm looking for one too. One that doesn't mount over the old with screws or "Christmas clips" I haven't had any luck either.... Autometer makes the ones that go over the OEM pillar...but still some type of screw or ghetto vent screen relocation. I'm still looking and hopefully has some somewhere. Let me know if you find some before me.

I recently installed the autometer one over the stock one and used 3m two sided tape.

Take it one step further and add fuel pressure. Check it out!!!

SPA Boost Fuel Pressure Gauge

Many guys here are running this gauge as part of my turn key FI C5 Gauge package but if you want just boost, do the dual gauge for a few more bucks and keep an eye on your fuel too. I also have pods available.

Got my triple at GLOWSHIFT. You can remove the original pillar, pop the vent out (not easy, be careful) and glue it in the new pillar. Note: The very bottom of the new pillar does not roll under the A post base, but you can't see that area any way. I still have a new double pillar pod, and a single add on gauge pod still in the box because I found this site too late.

I have a 3 gauge pod made by GlowShift and it replaces the stock one. It is actually for a 97-02 according to part # but fits perfect on my 03. The only thing that is off a little is the middle gauge is obscured somewhat on left side if you have the seat all the way back and all 3 gauges don't line up exactly straight cause some designer was probably drunk when he made the mold but you can take a heat gun to it and massage them all straight if need be.

They make a 2 pod one also I had first and it fit just fine as well but I installed that one over my existing one so they can go either way.

It's a great fit and I only secure it with one screw at the very top which cant be seen. You only have to take the old one plastic vent filler piece off and glue it on the new one

In terms of Autometer, there is a difference on the bottom portion and 2 different part #'s

12192 & 12193

Kill 3 birds with 2 stones.

This is an old video when I did my initial setup yet the same gauge package remains installed. The SPA gauge allows you to do a lot more things than just read pressures, the warning lights and the ability to trip outboard 12v relays to control other items is very effective. I have mine setup to trip my BAP at a certain pressure.

I killed 8 to 9 birds with two stones, using a double pod and PLX gauges (installed by ECS) that read out:

Top: AFR Lambda, Fuel Pressure, Vac and Boost

Bottom: OBD-II readings... Set to: Air Intake Temp (awesome if you are spraying meth), Speed, RPM, and Timing (another great measure to see, especially "peak" measures, without needing a laptop / data logging software)

These gauges also data log, maintain peak, etc., in addition to alarming.

Additionally, I had two small LEDs installed (one next to each gauge). One shows Alky Pump activation, the other shows my secondary fuel pump activation.

I also have a wideband LC-1 AFR serial port available to connect to my laptop when I am using EFI Live.

And... Before I changed the steering wheel (bottom gauge displaying five OBD-II readings):

Digivex,

Yeah, the PLX's kick ***, I am a dealer for them as well. The PLX OLED OBD2 is a really nice gauge. DO you have some more information on the hub adapter/wheel combo? I want to do a wheel with a quick release, is that a Sparco adapter?

Hi Brian, ECS installed my wheel as well. I believe they indicated that the adapter is by Sparco, but also mentioned that the Sparco / Momo adapter is the same. But, I don't want to give wrong info and recommend you give them a call for details on the part, thanks

I had put it in a 98 with no problems so I'm guessing 97-02!
