Mr Big I has the new version Flip Drive which works fine, absolutely no slipage at any RMP, my ZLS3 with a stock LS3 motor and 10lbs boost are making 738rwhp with the same setup. My C5 with a D1SC made over 800RWHP with the Flip Drive setup. I am now setting up a F1R with the flipdrive, result in a few weeks.

Lol no worries about the highjack, keep it going. All info is welcomed!! I haven't pulled the trigger yet on the bracket but getting close. Mr. Big at what boost level are you seeing slippage with the new bracket?? And thanks everyone for the feedback.

biggest issue is the F1C step up ratio is 5.40/1 vs the 4.10/1 for the D1/P1, with a much smaller 3.60 on my P1 and almost the same peak boost I had zero belt slip, the F1C is a beast... but we'll cure the slip soon enough...

Wouldn't you expect it to slip less with the bigger pulley? It might be more of an issue that everything is getting spun up quicker due to making more power.

No, the drag from the MUCH larger and more aggressive impeller make it a harder blower to spin in the first place. Also the more bulletproof transmission in the F blowers require more energy to turn. I'm talking about comparing a P1/D1 to any of the F1A/C/R.

We switched over from an ECS bracket to an A&A bracket on a customers F1C LSX427 car. Would only make about 13 psi before slipping HARD with the old bracket and made about 801rwhp. We installed and A&A and it made 18psi and made 916rwhp

Was this because the F1C would flex the ECS bracket causing belt slip? The F1 is a big blower, but so is the novi in physical size, just curious.
