Can you put a quote from the reference in this thread? The site is a little complicated to navigate, and I couldn't readily find what you are referring to.

Hi Guys ! Yes I agree my site is difficult to navigate. Many years of patching. Working on a new site. In the meantime if you go to my site and on the opening page look at the menu bar on the left. About halfway down you'll see "S/C Pulleys" which will be changed to MegaGrip Pulleys soon. All my blower pulleys require one of my collets which cost $49.00.
The collet may be moved from pulley to pulley. Collets are available for all popular blowers - what changes is the shaft bore size like 20mm for the Vortech and 7/8" for the P&D ProChargers etc. The pulley itself is $199.00. The pulleys are available in 6 & 8 rib with various neck lengths for different applications. If you click onto my site and the pulley page then onto the second page you will see pulley dimensioning. I hope this helps!
Best regards,
greg

Any group purchase discounts?
Say if ya hit 10 or 20 sales ya get free shipping.
Can't get it if ya don't ask.
With any kind of a discount I am in. With a flip drive and an 8 rib I may be entering overkill. With price break I will take a 3.4" D1SC pulley.
If ya have a 6 rib and no flip drive this is a really valuable product....nice piece in any scenario.
Thanx Greg

Melting Slicks
The little slits is one aspect.
Odd that they seem to anodise then cut the slits ?
Although I do wonder if the slitting does offer any real benefits. I had a couple made for my car with some slits, and TBH I think they were worse lol

Well! Very interesting
Is there any way you can direct us to the sleeve we would need for our individual units?
IE-I have a P1SC-1 with a 3.2" Pulley - what combo of your Pulley and Collet would I need to remain the same?
Thanks,Matt

Hi Guys - I make the pulleys but certainly credit Reichard with the idea. I didn't realize they used the same name. Guess I will have to come up with a new name!
Anyhow I have been making and using for several years and see improved grip. The reason the pic shows a slot after anodizing is because I went back and slotted all my inventory after seeing the benefits. New inventory is hard coated thru. I also use 2024 as opposed to 6061 aluminum - it has a lot more copper in it and requires a special anodizing but it improves the wear (especially on idlers). Seems to me the pulley now behaves like a semi-cog. I can't say whether mine are like the Reichard or not as I have not actually seen one of their pulleys. The idea was passed on to me and I came up with my own dimensioning.
I make my pulleys in 1/8" increments. You can see the chart on my webpage. I have in stock most pulleys and collets for the Vortech, Paxton, and ProCharger head units. The
P1, P1SC, D1SC and D1 use a 7/8" input shaft.
Sorry about any confusion and I'd certainly be open to discount prices for quantities of 10 or more. My hardcoater who uses a proprietary process has a minimum lot charge of $350.00

greg

Hi Leo12, yes it is pricey but it is not a pulley with a simple keyway. If you look at my webpage you see a tapered collet with a keyway. The pulley has a matching taper. As you tighten the pulley onto the collet it squeezes closed. So now the grip area between the pulley and blower shaft is 100% as opposed to just a key. Additionally you now can move the pulley in or out as needed for proper belt alignment w/o making shims or cutting pulley. One pulley can go from one style blower to another by simply changing the collet.

Now the adjustability for alignment is a good idea, how much can you move it?
I have an alignment issue now, but I am planning on getting the A&A new bracket for my P1SC, and it is supposed to cure belt slip (within reason) and any alignment issues. So I wonder if I would need this?
