Fuel not siphoning from second tank
Yesterday I ran empty with 30 litres of gas still in my tank.
I was told by my garage (CHAMPION MOTORS) and this was confirmed by Lonnie from LONNIE's PERFORMANCE that the Corvette fuel tanks are designed with a tank transfer function meaning that with a fuel pressure of 58 PSI as the first tank that being the driver's side empties it "siphons" gas over from the second tank that being the passenger side equalizing your fuel level in both tanks.
For tuning purposes and in order to tune 95 lbs injectors we have regulated the fuel pressure to less than 58 PSI of fuel pressure.
Anyone out there know what lowest fuel pressure you can run that still functions with the tank transfer function so that both fuel tanks are equalized so that you don't run empty on only half a tank?

I believe this could be of help for you.
As stated, the C6 has a different fuel set-up.
Can't wait for some awesome TT results.

Did this problem arise immediately following the fuel system being set up the way you describe? It should have thrown a code with a large variance between the two tanks. Makes me wonder why it didn't warn you. Arun has 96lb injectors with no fuel system issues. I have 1000CC injectors and no issues. My fuel pressure is set at 60 with the vacuum line off the boost referenced regulator.

I tried lowering my fuel presssure and went boost reference. Cruising with boost reference was at 45 psi. At 45 psi the siphon pump did not work on my late 03 fuel system.

Well the adjustment to 58 PSI (55 PSI with vacuum) seems to have done the trick and the siphon pump is working to level the tanks!
Thanks for everyones input in regards to this problem.

FYI: the siphon pump does not level the tanks. The siphon pump keeps trying to place all the fuel into the drivers tank.
