Default Another 427/YSI Build

Well since a 427 and YSI seem to be the way to go Im finally going to get started on my build. Im not looking for more than 900 rwhp. Anything extra is a plus. Should be pretty fun and I havent driven my car in almost 2 years With kids and my money going to other things I put the Z06 on the backburner. Im going with the 8 rib and a cartek flip drive. If I wouldnt have got the 8 rib dirt cheap I was going to buy Aruns 10 rib. But for now Ill stick with the 8 rib and flip and go from there. So here is the breakdown. Should be done within 60 days or so. Going to take my time and do it right and as clean as possible.

A&A YSI kit with 8 rib
Lethal Performance 4" dongle with Lethal Performance big air filter
Snow meth kit dual nozzle
LS2 Darton sleveed custom 5 bolt by LME
Trick flow 235 cc heads 5 bolt by LME
Lethal Performance custom blower camshaft
L19 head studs
American racing 2" headers and ORX
XS power 3" exhaust
Fast 102 and NW TB and RSI fuel rails
Katech valve covers
Lethal Performance coil relocation kit
Text dual disk clutch
T56 with main shaft and billet upgrades
Pinion support on the rear
Trans brace
Lethal Performance custom fuel system (Car allready has two racetronix pumps in the tank )
CCW SP500's

Here are a couple of pics for now till we get started

Of course a pic of the car

Old setup

If the 8 rib doesnt do it Ill get the ten rib. But I got the 8 rib thrown in when I bought the kit. Was installed on a car we where building and the owner ran out for cash so I basicly got a new unstarted kit for a smokin deal I couldnt pass up!

I cant wait. I have very few items left to order. But Im not turning a wrench untill every single part is in my possession. I cant stand waiting for UPS or Fedex. One of the big reasons our 1000 HP C6 Z06 didnt got to the mile. I have maybe 3k worth of parts left to order. Chicken feed compared to all the other crap I had to buy

You have a nice build going there. You should be fine with the 8 rib, I'm running a 4" intake 2.85 pulley and hit 23lbs. Didn't see any noticable belt slip. I did have to change the stock A&A tensioner because I broke several (you pics look like you have that same tensioner). A&A has a beefer one now with their newest brackets. I bought a HD tensioner from Arun about a year back that stopped my breaking issue.

you'll have no problems seeing 900RWHP....

Dur. @ .050 int 235 exh 230
lift with 1.7 .605 .595
lobe sep. 114
int. c/l 110

Also waiting for all my parts to come in. Should be spinning wrenches in the shop towards the end of the month. Work owns me. And somehow I have to fit in a fishing trip

I dont think that cam is going to work very well, you should have more duration on the exhaust side with the blower. Build looks great overwise.
