Default 1.8 rocker on 2000 C5 with a&a corvette V2 and stock cam

I friend of mine have a 1.8 rocker, he decide to not use it.

I haven't any problem with my vette (44000 miles only, less than 4000 with the blower), but i heard that it can be a problem on lots of C5)

Do you think it can be a good idea for me ?
My vette is a 2000 C5
Stock bottom
Stock cam (but the 2000 C5 is GM 12560968 :
Stock ratio 1.7:1
Intake duration @ 0.5"... : 198
Exhaust duration @ 0.5". : 209
Lift.............................. : 500
Separation lobe............. : 115.5
)
FI a&a corvette kit with Vortech V2 and 3.4 pullay for more PSI

With a 1.8 rocker, the virtual spec of the cam should be different... a little more HP for N/A, but i dont know if it's the same effect for FI ???
So, perhaps it's worth on FI than the stock ratio...

And what about the RPM (know, i havent change the max RPM, but it should be a good idea to limit at 6500 or 6800 RPM ?

I give you the link for the roller (good product i heard) :

* CNC-machined castings from super-strong extruded billet aluminum for total strength and reliability
* Precision needle-bearing fulcrums to reduce friction
* 8620 steel alloy roller tips for reliable, easy valve operation
* Special oil inlets to the bearings and roller to ensure reliability under operation
* Slotted bodies for extra stud clearance
* 4140 chromemoly Allen head adjustment nuts
The kit cost $857.95 on summitracing, my friend sell me at $550

So... good idea or not ?
