How to tell if you have an intercooler leak
I think I am loosing some boost with my current setup. I don't have the ability to run my system to it's full potential right now--but I feel like I am bleeding off some boost when running on the highway. How do you check an intercooler to see if it has a leak or is holding proper boost? I feel llike I should be around 12lbs with my current pulley--but my gauge is only indicating 8-10 lbs and then I feel like it might be very slowly bleeding off boost? What's the best way to pressure check?

what's your setup?
Cut a circular plug out of wood and place it in the supercharger inlet. Then pull the vacuum line off the brake booster and charge it with ~15psi regulated air. Listen for leaks. watch your gauge and see how quickly it bleeds down when you stop trying to pressurize it.
