Great Numbers!!!! Are you still using the stock clutch? Any slippage?
I dont know how long she will hold on these pills though - but I am about ti pill it back down to a 100 Shot as I dont need "that much power" :D

Thanks! Thats the way to do it. Shot 100 until the clutch goes then upgrade the clutch and go back to the 150. :D Love those numbers........Let us know what kind of times your pullin with the 100 shot. Thanks again. Have fun.

If you havent learned already - there will ALWAYS be someone faster than you. :D
As far as the TT Supras (that are worth worrying about) are far and few between, which is the reason that so many fear them - cause they get used to beating supras - and then BOOM - "that one" shows up and smokes darn near everyone around.. But again this is true with most other sports cars, as there is always just a handfull lurking around that can actually run.. the rest just talk about'em as if they should be feared and to not come out of the house when they are around.. hehe
Everyone that knows me - will agree that I dont care if I win or loose - lets just race and see what happens... :yesnod:
Best Regards,
BP

I'm with you 100% on this, Brent. You have a good attitude.
There IS indeed _always_ someone faster.
My motto has always been to enjoy the car first, keep it tuned so that its running all the time (and buy upgraded parts where needed in order to keep the car very, very reliable)...so that you're not the one doing the talking while the car always sits on jackstands, and then let the chips fall.
If a guy beats me, then I just tip my cap and go on.
If you get caught up in this stuff too much, then all you do is spend $$ hand over fist, and the car ends up sitting around a lot on stands b/c you're always doing stuff to it, and not driving it. Or, you're busting parts ... just to go that .1-.2 seconds faster.
If this was my livelihood, I could understand it. But its not.
500rwhp from a 3100lb car that handles like its on rails is gonna be a tough one to beat. Like Brent said, the cars that don't show up...really don't count in my book. I don't know how many times I've heard at the track, "yeah well I've got a car that runs 9s at home and will beat your Mustang". Oh really? Why is it at home? "Oh, I can't keep a clutch in it". Ok, that's cool man, but I'm racing tonight. :) All the while I'm hoping the guy will actually bring the car out one day and we'll go from a roll on the highway...to which he's gonna be in for a rude awakening by this "slow, 10-sec car". ;)
You just gotta relax and enjoy it. A Supra/Viper/etc that makes 800rwhp is gonna beat everything in my garage. Good for him! The guy has a well-thought-out combo. That kind of stuff is impressive to me. :D

The intention of my original post wasn't to start a Supra vs. Vette pissing contest. I was just messing with you because you've said "I don't need that much power". Believe me, when you run into the RIGHT Supra, you will need all the power you can get.

I was (or thought I was) seeing a few read the Supra comment and questioning thier abilities - well then you see some others jump in saying "O- Watch out for the all mighty Supras - - that made me feel compeled to rebut - as you can/will get waxed one day by the one you thought you easily had.. it happens.. and to just make clear that the TT Supras are in the same class as an LPE TT - and not to be compared to a normal C5 on Spray.
I totaly respect (and admire) those cars (all of them that can beat me) as those guys have just done more work than I. Hence they deserve the respect the "chatter crowd" makes them up to be.. But too much talk gets on my nerves.. Everywhere you go - you hear them - "yea, I know a buddy who has a friend that met a guy at the mall whom has a 4 second SUV (all motor of course).. and it gets old listening to those talk and talk that cant even run with the medium of the crowd.. always trying to out do you in conversation - although they pulled up to the track in a stinking MINIVAN!!!!
Sorry guys I started to vent a bit - ooooops..

I hear you Brent about the "Well my cousin's,uncle's,brother's, baby Daddy has a car that will smoke everything in this parking lot" to which I say "where is it". I am just glad I have a slow car and dont have to worry about it
Besides Brent you wont have nothing to worry about :D
