Default BMW or GM Torque tube bushings for supercharged vettes ?

Hey everyone,

are the 12mm German BMW torque tube bushings (26 11 1 227 410) the same as the 12mm GM torque tube couplers (88894026)
?
I know there have been quite a few threads about this in the past, but what's the latest take on this ?

The way I understand it is that if they are OEM BMW couplers that say made in Germany they have the same strentgh as the ones from GM. Is this correct ?

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for the info, I’d rather stay clear off the BMW bushings then.
What are you using now ? The ones from GM ?
