Default Starting My TT Build (PIC Heavy)

Here goes;

I bought this 99 Arctic White FRC (Already Cloned) with the intention of this Twin Turbo build.

I pretty much have all the parts allocated at this point;

* Forged 382 purchased from forum member John Carter.

The following is from the original post when John had the motor for sell here on the forum:

This engine was built by Cartek in NJ. Had two build identical and this was the spare that never got used.

382 CID Stroker
Callies Crank
Eagle Rods
Diamond Pistons
Double Timing Chain
ATI Damper
Corvette Oil Pan
Upgraded Oil Pump
All forged internals.

The same as the Engine I ran in my convertible...See it and hear it run on you tube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYWXESnE-XM

Dyno with 450RWHP motor only

* 317 heads and ZR1 gaskets, Comp Cams dual springs

* Custom Turbo grind cam (thanks to Bret for the help with the grind)

* LS6 Intake, FAST rails, 80lb Injectors

* 07 C6Z trans and three rib diff all sent to RPM, Level 5 trans and and level 4 diff.

* C6Z Clutch/PP/Throw out bearing. Remote bleeder

* STS kit with the following upgrades Turbonetics T3/T04B .48 A/R polished turbos with ceramic ball bearings
Tial waist gates and BOV, WERX pump, electronic dual stage boost controller

* Fuelab Prodigy pump, pressure reg and filter. in process of mounting to factory hanger.

* DeWitts Radiator

* Alkytrol Dual Nozzle Meth Injection

* Tons of stuff I can't even remember buying at this point

I have thus far removed the complete drive train and am currently working on the fuel system. I'll post more pictures as I go.

Wish me luck!

Looks like fun! Why bother with a C6Z clutch with the power you will be making?

Well... I have no intentions of putting slicks on and going to the track, those days are past for me. I have a Speck clutch that came on the car that I could use, but I was hoping to get a less grabby clutch that would hold up to street use... Do you think the C6Z is still a bad idea for street???

Thanks... When I started looking for an FRC, I was really wanting black, but this one came up and really caught my attention... It has really grown on me and it's easier to keep up with..

Nice car and will be a fun build. I wouldn't recommend the z06 clutch either.

Thanks! I will see if I can exchange... I bought the clutch very early on thinking I would only build a 500-600hp car, then the disease took hold and well, here I am with the potential for a little more than 500 or 600hp...

I'm still fab'n my fuel pump hanger, hope to post pics on Thursday. I have the Fuelab Prodigy Series 41402 good for 1300hp with the boost referenced FPR that links to the pump to electrically control the pump output.
