Default Whats the difference between ID1000 VS. FIC1000 Injectors???

I am going to step up my injectors and wondering what the difference is between the 2 competitors?

I have had 3 people PM me about selling me FICs for a good price.

On the other hand, I have read that most prefer the IDs.

I am wanting to know the difference between the 2, is it Coke vs Pepsi or is one truly better than the other, which one is easier to tune with and has an overall better drivability? Thanks for all info!

Save your money and buy the FICs. I have used both and can't say the ID's were worth the extra dough.

Price.....Almost everyone I know of has had at least one injector of the set of 8 be bad or flow low fuel from ID.The ones that got all 8 injectors good from the start had one fail shortly after. On the other hand,My local tuner says fic's are hard to tune

I had to look at the ID info to see why my car wouldn't start after my FIC1000's install. The decimal point was in the wrong spot in one of the g/sec tables. After that they worked much better. Still not perfect though.

Brian,

Why are you gonna step up the injectors? Dont you have 60's in there now? For what you have, they work fine..

FIC has an additional option now. Bosch 970cc with data provided. The ID1000 and the FIC1000 are GT500 injectors with the tip cut off and modified as far as I know. Very similar. These new bosch 970's are straight from Bosch with data provided. I just installed a set on mine after having issues with my Deka 83's. Car idles excellent now.

I know Kris and Bret here have used both ID and FIC and found no difference-just more dough in there pocket.

The Bosch's are supposed to be the cats ***! I'm running the 127's and the extended tip option was a nice feature for the FAST 102's.

I used a set of the 127s in a 408 96mm turbo Camaro. They are drop in. No adapters or rewiring new connectors like the 1000cc injectors. They were easy to tune and drivability was great.

Thats sounds nice. Wasn't to impressed with my adapters. We had an issue with mine. We flipped the rail over to see if the injectors were firing and while disconnecting them a couple of the pins came out.

What hp level with the 127s support?

Are they similar to the 1000s as far as flow?

I just want an injector that will work in a 850ish motor that is easy to tune and will have great street manners and idle! I'm not looking for overkill! Thanks Kris
