Do you guys see much gain using a full size dewitts vs. stock radiator when using stock fans?

I had a Kenne Bell on the car that heat blanket was the reason I put it on the car. After the rad only saw about a 15 deg in lower temps with it. But then pulled the kenne bell and did the YSI with the new fans now in 105 deg out side with air on 215 in town light to light, and 190 out on the road... It really does work.. Robert

I had the same problem with high oil temp and was planinig to put twin 70 mm turbos. Tom set me up with the stock style vette oil cooler that has the restrictor in the line so you don't loose oil preasure at high rpm and a trany cooler. Car makes 1300 flywheel HP. Drove from Bakersfield Ca. to the beach on fathers day,130 miles, outside temp was 107 engine temp 206 with large intercooler infront. Oil temp 230. As far as "its just a radiator" Tom uses all USA made cores, coolers and tanks. I talked to a radiator expert here in town and showed him the dewitt one I got and he told me it was the best one he had seen. Thicker material on the tanks and the best coolers. I also use the fans and his shroud.

Is your radiator still holding up?

Mine sure isn't. It looked good but started leaking within months. Their replacement leaked as soon as I installed it through a pinhole leak in a weld. Mine must have slipped past the lack of quality control.
