Default Air/smog pump

Hey guys I'm finishing up a supercharger install, my question is do I keep the air pump lines in place or does the air pump set up not need to be used any more?

That's fun y did it damage anything. My whole concern is its in the way I would like to have the room for intercooler pipig. And to work on the car easier but will this effect the cats and will I pass emissions

The air pump is really only needed on cold starts to help heat up the cats by adding in extra air. Once the car is warm, the air pump is shut off. For emission, just make the car is nice and warm and there is not waiting line. Some states to better visual inspections than others. In theory it is a required piece of equipment for emissions compliance.... in theory.

I'm in Houston, and everytime i've had and inspection done they don't even open the hood. They just plug in to the OBDII port and scan for low catalyst efficiency codes, etc. If no codes are found, emissions piece of the inspection done .
