What would be a good asking price for my supercharged Z06?
Was throwing around the idea of going to a C6. What should I ask for a car like mine?
Here's the highlights:
03 Z06 (nearly perfect exterior and interior)
No accidents, never seen snow and only been rained on a couple times.
66k miles
Quicksilver ext/Black int.
Mods:
A&A Supercharger (self contained)
XS Longtubes with catted X pipe
Devils own meth injection
AEM wideband and boost gauges (digital)
New Toyo drag radials (never mounted) and MT ET streets currently mounted
No dyno numbers or track times. (too much snow in WI right now)
Est: 560-590 whp

I'm thinking low 20's its just a Z and a blower and headers, no clutch, trans, diff etc.
Lots of more built cars going for 25 and less.
The Z stock with that milage will sell in the high teens, you'll be waiting a while in the low 20's. Not so easy to get a note on a 10 yr old car, and not everyone has 20 liquid that wouldnt drop the 20 and finance something newer/more expensive.
C5 market isn't too great these days, but the Z's have held their value best.

You would be best off putting it on ebay or selling it locally. It will sell for $25 if you wait. The forum market and the normal people market are two different animals.
The blue car in my avatar pic was on here for months with people kicking tires. I knew it was worth what the guy was asking so I didn't jerk him around. Right buyer will pay for it.

Sorry to say but to get most $$$ you have to de-mod, and sell separately. If you find just the right buyer who wants what you got you might luck out.. and get standard price + 50% of mods cost. Best of luck to you!

Unless the car is way custom and appraised. He will get only nada type prices. People don't have a bunch of $$$$ laying around now a days. People buy what they can fiancé. Glws I'm sure it's a nice car.
