Default New LS Timing Cover Alignment Tool! Check it out!

AlignIt Timing Cover/Crank Seal Alignment tool
Here is a simple but very effective tool to help you make easy work of installing your LS1-2-3-6-7-9 timing cover and seal.
The Alignit tool gets the timing cover centered perfectly with the crank and installs the seal in seconds!
Having the seal centered accurately with the crank minimizes the chance of seal leakage. Only $19.95
http://www.saccitycorvette.com/Timin...nmenttool.html

Update! We made a improvement to the AlignIt!
We will have to add a a few bucks to the cost. The New price
will be $26.95.
We will keep the $19.95 price through the Memorial weekend.
After that we will implement the new price.

Also if you purchased a AlignIt without the O-Ring and you would like a O-Ring installed at no charge just send it back to us.
Basically the O-Ring lets the AlignIt fit snugger in the cover holding it in place better.

One other thing, we are working on a Rear Main AlignIt tool.

Here is a video that shows how simple it is to use.

Do you neeed to put anything on the seal or the timing cover before installing? RTV, white sealer tape, etc? Thanks.

Does it work with both stock and aftermarket crank snouts?

Hi Y2KRoadster,
A little RTV in the corners where the timing cover and pan meet.
I don't think you need anything on the seal.
You should double check that.

Thanks
Christian

The GM Kent-Moore tool won't work with keyed aftermarket cranks, but it looks like your tool has the required keyways.

Yes it does. We got input from forum members and they recommended a keyway groove so we did it.

Thanks

Nothing on seal however RTV on both sides of timing cover at bottom corners, not too much, and torque bottom 2 bolts first and go upstairs in cross pattern.....very important.

How about a tool for installing a rear main seal? If you have one of those, I'll buy both!
