It's ALWAYS the little stuff that sucks up so much time. Every time I've done a major job it always end up being something stupid that makes it take hours longer than it should

finally got mine back together, started her up, and smelt burnt rubber. trying to figure out what is going on and have talked to them about it. I think the balancer has to come back off to check to see if there is a problem with it

Sounds like the belt is misaligned. You see the sticky at the top it shows how to do laser alignment. You can measure the crank pulley snout to crank and see if your within spec. That is your 0 everything else is based on that and that only

That is the first thing I'd check.

All other belts are fine and riding perfectly. Well the new cog belt system for the flip drive is acting up. The cog belt is trying to slide off the balancer but the AC belt is in its way.

uh oh, I have a pretty good idea where this came from... definitely check belt alignment, something is probably off... I'm not sure how you can check the cog part with a laser but try checking the 6 rib part of the jackshaft pulley in relation to the power steering and alternator pulleys... if those line up with the jackshaft pulley then either it is machined wrong or something is going on with the balancer

Well keep us posted on how it works out...Well ladies and gents after 6 months for something that should of took 2 days shes finally back on the road...Ok I didnt work on it until 5 months later and added a bunch of other crap but still...So a few things but first I love this clutch i mean I loved it before I had a rst but this feels like it's supposed to. My last one I knew something was off and could feel every bit of vibration in the clutch pedal. It shuttered when I took off no matter how how I tried it was never smooth. No weird noises nothing it feels better then ever. long story short I don't think the shop that installed my rst installed it correctly. I mean you think there isn't much adjustment when the clutch tool is in but just a few mm adjustments makes a huge difference. the alignment was spot on I'm glad I took the clutch out to realign it before I stabbed the TT and tranny in. I have to say the new seats are awesome I love teh way they feel i put about 200 miles yesterday driving around town and I felt great..The shocks weer a huge improvement no longer will I have to worry about my rear end sliding out from under me when I hit a pebble.lol..My f45 were shot a looooooong time ago. All the sound/thermal stuff i did made a huge difference you can barely hear anything outside with the windows up and my car is loud. it was nice and cool inside also no heat wave coming from the TT area..I still have some minor things to do and need to put on my tires i have 2 sets...a set of invos and the ET streets drag radial... Ill let you know what the new dyno numbers are when I break the clutch in and go for the retune with more boost more fuel and meth!! That's all see you around on the next round of mods!!!

I had to redo my ebrake but they are gtg now...

Shifter bushing are gonzo..

fuel pressure jumped up...hope I fixed my fuel issue..

back on the road..

glad to see you finally got it going!... is your fuel pressure 70psi at idle?... can't remember if you boost referenced your system but if you did you might want to back it down a bit

yeah it's boost referenced now. Yup that's warm idle or fully temp up. I'' drop it back down to 58..Hopefully that's a good sign for the fuel pressure issue then

So finally some good news!! For the first time ever my fuel pressure jumped up under boost about 10-15 psi maybe more(gotta focus on the road) usually it would just stay at 58-60 psi even after my hotwire, 255, bap, secondary, bigger fuel rails, return style it just would not do anything it would just stay at 58-60psi. I got around 550 miles on the clutch and let it rip. Boost went up 2psi(smaller pulley) so hitting about 11psi on the D1 and saw my fp gauge go from 58-60psi like it always had no matter what I did to 75+ I think it's finally working like it's supposed to. I need a tune so I dont want to do back to back runs but so far things are looking great. I think my stock line that i replaced may have been the culprit. I need to see where i tossed it to see if I can at least find root cause of the issue this whole time. Feels great!! lets hope it works out but it's looking very good so far..
