Default Just installed Mantic 9000 clutch

I just installed the Mantic 9000 clutch I bought from Chris at ECS. It is an extremely nice looking piece and high quality just as it appears to be in the pictures on this site. I got the fancy metal case as well. The RXT is a nice clutch but the drivability of the 9000 is much better than the RXT it replaced. There also were no worries of whether there is a TOB spacer needed or not. This clutch feels like factory as far as feel and isnt on-off or jerky at all. I had zero clutch chatter or noises coming from the clutch. The car is so much more fun to drive now. I will be putting the car on the dyno in 2 weeks, just hope it hold the power as well as it drives.

Glad your happy with it! We have held well over 1000rwhp now so I think you will be just fine on holding the power.

Thanks!

How much did it cost to install the clutch? And did they have to pull the engine to install?

You do not have to pull the engine, and you can change the clutch in a C5 on jack stands over a weekend. Its much easier with a lift though.

Yes, I did it on jack stands. Not fun doing a clutch on jackstands especially with a turbo car. Clutch is still holding and doing well.

I don't think I have actually ever heard a complaint out of this clutch.

If you go really high on the HP, I have been testing a triple Mantic, the pedal feel is fantastic.
