I don't think the intake will be bad since fuel not spraying on them.

I ask as my daily is known to have carbon deposits and the only way to fix it would be through power cleaning with walnut shells. Meth would be much cheaper!!

That is some impressive cleaning! I would still be afraid of not getting all the shells out. I don't know if that will damage anything?

Me too on the shells. That's why I was wondering if this could be a option.

is that kit good for pure ethanol operatinon? (i believe they tell you not to use less than 50% of water in the methanol.)

They say 50/50 for safety reasons.

Important Safety Notice Regarding Methanol

AEM strongly recommends that users never exceed a 50% methanol concentration when using any AEM Water Methanol system or component.

All AEM Water/Methanol injection systems and components (pump, lines, fittings, filter, flow sensor, tank, and nozzles) are 100% chemically compatible with methanol. However, for safety reasons we strongly recommend that users never use more than a 50% methanol concentration in our systems.

Methanol is a toxic and highly flammable chemical. 100% Methanol ignites easily and burns vigorously with an almost undetectable flame. Methanol can be absorbed through the skin and even small amounts can cause blindness or even death. Using this fluid at high pressures, without dilution, in an under-hood environment with nylon lines and push-to-connect fittings is very unsafe. The performance advantages of using greater than 50% methanol concentrations are small, if they exist at all. However, the safety issues are very real and far outweigh any perceived benefit of running high concentrations of methanol.

Can you pm install instructions and explain the jets.

Everyone tells me I need to get meth.
590rwhp with A&A kit and other goodies.

Where do I get more meth?
What happens if I run out on a trip?
how can I estimate how much I will use on a race day?
I hear about guys using a certain brand of washer fluid, is that true?

Hi 2ooo-C5
Here is a link that answer your questions
http://aemelectronics.com/files/inst...Controller.pdf
It also has a jetting chart also.

Meth is readily available on line or at speed shops. You can use certain washer fluid if you need to.
If you tune for meth like advancing timing and if you run out of meth just drive normal don't go full throttle. Meth only comes on at around 60%-80% throttle depending on how you set it.
If going on a trip take a gallon with you.
Thanks
Christian

Hi,
I'm sure there are differences. You would have to do some research to find what they are.
