Shop for a full blown build
I know that the list has to be short but if you were looking for a shop for a full tilt engine and blower build, who would you use and why?
I have no qualms about shipping out the car for the work and waiting for it to be properly built so I am not bound by geography.
Thanks in advance.

Id use Bret Bradbury aka blownbluezo6@RKT56
Why? Because he is good and it's not his primary job.
Sounds weird I know but one thing you can pretty much gurantee with that is that he maintains the appropriate balance between doing it for the love of the hobby and making money.
All too often you will find those who shift that balance more to quantity and sacrifice quality in order to keep the lights on. There has to be a balance and I think Bret is one of the better people at doing just that. Not to mention he's smart and does phenomenal work!!

Thanks for the words guys.
There's some shops up north, not too far from you that I respect. Be careful. There's also some that you'll regret going to.

See your in Boston. I use slowhawk. I've been very happy with the work they have done along with the tune. I've pointed quite a few of my buddies to them aswel and they are all happy customers. They are right in bridgewater so not far from you. The owner is a straight shooter and very knowlegeble. He's always willing to awnser my questions vie email and gets back to me very quickly.
Another plus to using someone close is if you make any changes or whatever they are right around the corner.
I've also had my fair share of bad experiences along with friends with some shops out this way, if you would like info pm me.

Car is already a blower car making almost 800. Has all other necessary mods done.

The guy that ask you these questions can do anything you want with your car. Plus it will be 100% correct with him. Robert

If its not something that Bret wants to take on, I would ship it off to Vengeance without a second thought. Pretty sure their quality speaks for itself at this point.

Another vote for Don @ SlowHawk. He's done several of my vettes at this point. Just a good, no nonsense tell it like it is guy. There will be no sugar coating or ego stroking, just real world facts.
If you're going to be dropping a good amount of coin on a build you really should go visit whatever shop you're thinking about. Look the shop over, make sure its up to what you want, talk to the owner/tuner/mechanics. Also, talk to some of the customers of the shops you look at.
SlowHawk is nice and close to you with is a plus all by itself. I don't mind traveling for anything if its worth it, but I found I didn't have to with Don being right there. Another plus about staying local is you have DMC Racing right in Halifax MA (7 miles from SlowHawk) who is one of the best chassis builders in the country should you want to add some safety to your car...which I highly recommend.

- Feel free to PM me your number if you want to talk about either shop further.

I heard there is some shop in Westchester, NY who specializes in Corvettes. They can add 4.10 gears along with their tune to your car and make that 800 HP you already have feel like 1000 HP on your butt.
