it will move forward with the rack since the bracket uses the rack bolt... if you don't want to move the ebcm you can cut the ear off the bracket and use the lower bolts to hold the bracket in place

I'd put it in driver's side fender area. I've seen some of the turbo guys stuff it in there. I think on the 97's it was actually by the rear diff. It'd be worth the trouble to never see that POS again... sometime this summer.

I'd love to relocate my EBCM. I hate where it is!! The early C5 had it right IMHO

Yes, 97-98 was mounted on rear cradle.

Made it a little difficult to drop the trans/rear, but engine bay looks a lot better

Do you have a photo of how it's mounted on the early C5's?

Reviving an old thread, does anyone still make a spacer kit to move the rack forward? Just dropped in an engine with a 10rib setup for a Ysi and i have about 1/8 inch from the balancer to the rack.

pm Blownbluez06 if you need a spacer kit... mine is close but I just turn the belt on it's side and it slides right through

Basically it entails cutting off the forward mounting ears from the cradle and bolting replacement ears to it. This allows you to move the rack forward .330" for the needed clearance.

Do you have any still??

@breecher_7

Are you able to produce a set to sell to me?

also just making sure, this will allow me to run a 2 belt crank pulley for a dedicated blower drive separate from the accessory drive correct?

Thank you
