Default What oil are you guys using?

I'm doing an oil change this weekend and wanted to see what the recommended oil is? Stock bottom LS6 with 20K miles @ 12 psi.
Thanks in advance

M1 High Mileage 5w-30. I have over 75k miles and have great oil pressure with this stuff. I hear the M1 formula has changed over the more recent years and the High mileage is closer to original.

What is the weight of the Rotella? 5w-40?

Bobistheoilguy has more information than you can read lol

Is thicker oil better for FI in terms of blow by and seals etc or what?

Suprised some of you are using those lighter synthetics. The wear protection that a diesel oil offers is pretty much as good as it gets and the stuff is dirt cheap...

I use synthetic t6 Rotella (the 5w40 above) and change oil only 2 times a year (one for bike and vette). Have been using it in my Audi, Vette and bike for the last 6 years or so. Works great, decent price and easy to get. It's been tested by lots of Audi s4 (twin turbo) guys and still has quite a bit of zink in it as of late(last test I noticed was around 900ppm). Guys will run it for 6+ months and up to 8000 miles and it still tests out decent from the blackstone lab tests they do on it.
