Default Guess I am starting to go a little overboard. PICS.

new billet wheels,
going to do all hard lines for vacuum and oil/feed/drain
and getting rid of all of my silicone(which worked awesome) and going to high pressure Jodar dual seals on throttle body, interooler outlet and off both turbos. Trying to keep it to 4, instead of 6 so I can keep cost down a bit. Also, updating to a dewitts radiator and also, doing my coolant lines in aluminum, mostly.

I figure I was tired of working on the car, taking it apart, back and forth. Doing all this, will make MY life easier, and at the same time, the trade of is, it's gonna look sick.

Basically, I am hoping that this will be the last time it comes apart...splurge now, for the long term build.

Hoping to have this car, and the F1X car done within the next couple of months. Here's the pics.

All marked off and taped,...ready for cutting and welding

High pressure seal clamp. Figured if it was good enough for the PROLINE builds, it was good for my dinky ride.

and more billet goodness.

Apparently I didn't take radiator pics. It isn't the shorter in height version everyone has. It's a standard C6 replacement radiator(I have a C5) I will just adjust my cradle(more) if I have to do accommodate.

Anywho. hoping more progress on both mine, and this thing...418ci F1X

Soon, soon.

Dude...it's a horrible disease. Sucks working here lol.

MAKE IT STOP!!!

Honestly, once all this jazz is done,..I am done. Tapped out a long time ago...just trying to get things done in the area I am working on(frontal engine area). I have a frame mod to do for more airflow. Change bellhousing and pilot bearing....then...get this thing running.

MIGHT change my injectors but,..might not.

Will make a sheetmetal manifold soon too, since I am having plates made. That will be a back burner though and after the car is making passes, so I can test vs the fast 90.

Once the car has been running for a bit,..ecm management and then maybe appearance(fenders/hood) may take place.

If the car was closer to me(now 1.5 hours north) i would have less time to buy parts, and more time to build it. I think our company will be moving very close to our garage, just probably not within a years time.

Jamie, stop buying parts. But keep drinking beer, chasing lovely ladies, and putting the parts you've got now on.

Thanks fella's. Much appreciated. Everything will have to go to thermal coating as well...so,..it'll look a hair different when all done, not to mention, loose a little more time unfortunately.

I don't have red silicone line hoss, I have all aluminum custom hard line, and some other meziere jazz. I am guessing you're reffering to the F1X C6? Yea,..I can have only so much influence on someones build bro. The logistics, everything black, anodized red, or hydrocarbon I can possibly take credit for. The red silicone, lol,..not so much. But, to each they're own man. Looks better in person but,..this car is honestly far from done. He may end up goin to black, since I am modding all of those lines anyways with 1.25 inch aluminum. In the end, you'll see very little of anything but a blower and blow off valves.

here is an older shot of my engine bay...

old vac lines/fuel lines/routing for testing,..etc..

Some progress. Still some welding to do..still some re-engineering of my cooling system...couple of things here and there...but still no light at end of tunnel. Here's a few pic updates.... don't mind the velocity stack..just messing around.
