I have the McLeod rst and I love it and it's quiet for a twin disk. though I can't hear much over the rest of the car but before the cam and blower it was not noticeable like other twin disk. I had a spec 3 and I didn't like it was notchy and didn't feel like it belonged in the car and was noisy. that's when I switched to McLeod. I know it's not the ones you listed but I figured I would chime in since I have had those particular brands.

I have the RXT and besides it taking 1000 miles to break-in its been really good. Slightly more pedal pressure than stock, doesn't rattle, pedal pickup is at about the stock position and it holds. Now, I'm only at ~600whp not 1000 but for back roads and the couple times I get to the track its been great. I'm using stock hydraulics and the steel plate from McLeod. Bought everything together and it came zero balanced as a unit.

Local guy has the RST and loves it too so seems like they have a good thing going. Friend tried a DYAD in a Fbody Camaro and it didn't like the quarter mile work too much, have heard good things about Mantic on the forum.

Good luck and hope ya get the right on first time out cause swapping these out sucks.

Of those choices I would choose the Mantic. I have been very impressed by this clutch so far. Drives like stock and really holds.

The Mantic is like driving a stock clutch that holds the power, hence why it's the only clutch we use anymore, no trade off! Call, email or PM if interested. They are in stock.

Man speaks the truth. I was amazed at how this clutch works. Feels stock but holds all the power most could ever throw at it.

Whatever you do, pull the Centerforce DYAD off your list. It doesn't disengage properly, especially when it gets warm. Good way to trash your sychros while its not fully disengaging. Then you're left with their customer service which consists of pointing fingers back at you. They should PAY people full retail plus install to use that POS.

This is what I did after the DYAD ate itself in 1k miles and first pass at the track.

Steve has a pretty slick setup with their C7 clutch conversion and it won't break the bank. I can't speak to street manners, since work on my car has slowed down for a while, but I can say pedal feel is like a C7 (obviously) with a distinctive breakover and you can feel the diaphragm stop that prevents overtravel. Floater and pressure plate are beefier than any aftermarket i've seen, and should be able to absorb a lot of heat.

I almost went with a Mantic, and in it's right I haven't heard much bad about it. The only things that steered me away were the recommended power limit despite what some are putting through it, and the flashy appearance/case. Personally I could care less about how pretty something looks that will always be covered up. I just want it to do it's job. Again, haven't heard much bad about it I just have a tendency to deviate from the norm.
