Since Pfadt is No Mas Who Makes a Drag Bar?

I just installed a ZR1 rear sway bar which will be a big upgrade over a stock c5/c5z rear sway. Pfadt had a chart showing the stiffness of all the stock corvette sway bars as well as some aftermarket ones included theirs of course and the zr1 was higher than some aftermarket and only slightly lower than the pfadt drag bar. You can get them for about $100 from a GM parts dealer as well. Much better than the $500 or whatever the drag bars went for new. i'll see if i can locate that chart...

From Pfadt website:
"Upgrading the rear sway bar for drag racing can have amazing effects at the strip. One of the best ways to get lower ETs and gain consistency in your runs is by making sure your drag car is loading the left and right rear tires as equal as possible. Adding a thicker, higher rate sway bar in the rear is a major part of the equation. We take our heaviest rate rear sway bar and now offer it separately from the heavy rate front swaybar for that exact reason. Take a look at the chart in the product photos, and you will see there is no stiffer bar option for drag racing!"

The "drag bar" was just their heavy rate sway bar, but was sold without the front. See earlier post which explains what a drag bar does and they say at the end for drag racing they use their heaviest rate sway bar...

The point is to keep the tires planted flat to not loose grip. The Pfadt bar is nice because its hollow and light weight too. Not sure about the T1 bar. Another thing to consider is the adjustable end-links they came with. When I installed mine I was surprised to see how stiff it became. You set the end-links so there's no pre-load and that sucker ain't moving from that position. Normal end-links allow the bar to maneuver around still. Might invest in a set of adjustable end-links.
