Default Novi 2000 Owners - Step Inside

Currently I am maxed out on my Novi 2000 setup (962whp) and would like to make a little more. The only options you have as a NOVI 2k owner are to buy a different bracket and blower to either an F series pro charger or a YSI/Novi 2200 w/ billet wheel.

I've been talking to Joyce at Snail-Turbo who specializes in making billet wheels for turbos and superchargers. They have agreed to design a billet wheel for the Novi 2000. The benefits are a lighter wheel that can be designed more aggressively since it's also stronger than the cast wheel., which in turns mean more efficient power and the ability to spin it a little higher. In order to design the wheel they will need a Novi 2000 sent to them for about a weeks time to design and test the billet wheel and check tolerances. My car is up and running and have a few events I plan on attending so it will be a few months before I will be ready to send mine out, so I'm curious if anybody's car is down at the moment and would be willing to send their Novi in for the greater good. They plan on offering a group buy on this wheel once it has been engineered and complete. Approx price will be $700 for one wheel, but with group pricing would get significantly cheaper. This would be a great way to make a little more power and make your novi more efficient!

Let me know if anybody is interested and I can give you more details and let you talk with Joyce directly from Snail-Turbo if you prefer

962hp is pretty killer HP out of that blower... I couldn't get that with an F1R...

You may also look into a Pro Volute from Steve Morris. If not that, atleast try a velocity stack on the blower.

I'm sub'd to see how much power you can scrape up with the blower.

I have my novi 2000 out right now and may be interested, but $700 sounds a lil' high IMO. Do you have a ballpark what the group buy pricing will be?

It should lower the price a couple hundred depending on how many we can get to buy. I know the Billet wheel from Vortech for the YSI is $600 so it's not much more..i'm sure if a few of us bought them it would drive the price down. If you are willing to ship your Novi that would be awesome! PM me and I can get you in touch with Joyce from Snail Turbo and he can give you details on turn around time and shipping address etc... Thanks!

3" pulley and runs out of steam around 6600...I'm hoping with the billet wheel I can just leave the 3" pulley and make power all the way to 7k+

I emailed Steve Morris and they do not have a program for the Novi 2000. Also, i'd like to keep an air filter on the car since its a street car and I'm too paranoid about sucking up a rock or something

I have a Novi 2000 that is currently off the car as well, but not willing to pay anything close to $700 for the wheel. If another deal can be worked out, let me know.

Wheel will be much cheaper with a group buy. I can get you the info of the company if you'd like to see if they will give you a deal for sending the charger in. They have been very responsive to me. PM me if your interested. Would be very grateful!
