Yep. It spaces the pump back about an inch and provides a -8 AN male fitting to feed an external pump. Although, the other thread on here currently shows a female port above the feed that could be used as a return. I wasn't aware that there were two different styles for the ECS fuel ring.

So the Racetronix wiring looks like a bad crimp from the start. Hummm

Yes, it just pulled right out of the crimp as I was manipulating the wires. This wire appeared to be slightly larger than the wiring on my old 255. Not sure what happened with their QC, but I'm glad I found it before go time.

Thanks. Hopefully one day. Looks like I'm working on it once a month at this point.

Here is a synopsis from this weekend. I started making a checklist on Friday to keep track of what's left and wasted some time contemplating mounting locations for the MagnaFuel 4303 and how to plumb everything up. This build has really convinced me of how there isn't much room for external performance upgrades if you want things to be neat and out of the way. However, it can be done if you think about it long enough and use trial and error.

Checked off a few minor things:
- Torque to spec front and rear cradle bolts
- Double check torque for bell housing to torque tube bolts
- Bolt up steering shaft
- Install and tighten all inlet charge pipes to compressor side of turbo
- Install main -8 fuel feed line and -6 return line
- Determine final mounting location of 4303 pump
- Investigate space behind intake for brake booster hose, oil pressure sender, -8 feed lines, and -6 return line
- Inventory existing fuel system parts
- Make a list of all AN fittings, hardware, and hose for plumbing fuel system including prices and part numbers

In some ways it doesn't look like much, but after letting it sit for a month it takes some time to figure out what direction to head next.

Part of yesterday and last night, I was able to check off a few other items.

New 04+ Take-off water pump

Dewitts Aluminum radiator with EOC. I bought it in Oct. 2011 and just now unboxed it. Wow, they really make some quality stuff.

SPAL electric fans and shroud from Dewitts

Everything fit together perfectly

I also started measuring this Corsa TI muffler up in hopes of duplicating it for the 3" exhaust system. This piece only weighs about 5.5 lbs.

Glad to hear it. I'm really impressed with the quality. Here's a shot of the welds. The whole setup with fans weighs ~ 28#. I'll have to weigh the stock ones today and note the difference.

An overall shot from late last night showing the radiator and fans installed. They dropped right in. The stock bracket holds them fine and the intake pipe clears. It was a good feeling to install a part and not have to modify anything to make it fit. It's been a rare occurrence on this build.

Looks good.
I do not think the water pump and will work with that thermostat. It is an early thermostat and the 04's used the thermostat without being attached to the outlet.

Thanks and good eye. I forgot to mention it. The thermostat in the picture is a 160 deg F for an early LS1. I went to swap them out this weekend and found that it won't fit. Now I need to buy the 04+ low temp thermostat and will have this other 97 - 03 one in case someone needs it.

I like the idea of this setup since the turbo setups are quiet anyway and one could just focus on the drone frequencies that they hit while cruising. I have access to some sound engineers brains to bounce some ideas off if you need it I would love to see how large each tube is (both length and width) but not sure that's possible?

I'm interested. What kind of info do you think they would need. I've got dimensions on everything and I know the setup works, but it's 2.5" vs 3". One time, it came un-coupled at the clamp shown and things were much louder inside the car at idle and cruise.

I found a place yesterday that has oval SS muffler shells. I just need to figure out the right internal volume and what diameter to make the two smaller pipes.

Yes, you interested? I have the complete system including the mid/h-pipe with the titanium resonators. I'm probably going to regret getting rid of it, because it's the best I've owned. Lightweight, high flow, and great sound with zero drone inside.

I want a true 3" system this go round without the tortuous path that most C5 designs take. I already have the 3" downpipes, a 3" x-pipe from a ZR1, and 3" over the axle pipes from a C6Z06. I just need to fabricate some mufflers and tips and make a small mod to join the x-pipe to the downpipes.

Really we wouldn't need to know much other than it's a v8 and the location of the ports. Proper placement is important and can change the resonator efficiency. Even with the 3" piping that exact resonator would work about the same, but I'm curious if the pipes are just capped inside, perforated, etc. It's hard to say exactly what Corsa had going on with them. Do you have one of those cheap scopes to examine them inside

I know my LG big 3 is super quiet, but has a lot of drone with the turbo setup due to going back to 3.42 gears and running 26.6 or taller rear tires. These things just loaf around at the worst rpm possible for drone it seems.
