Nice build, any details on the engine portion of the project?

You will really like the Boost Leash. I have the gear based version and it was easy to setup and use. I'm not sure if he has changed anything with the new models, but mine doesn't have any fail safes so you want to make sure of your settings before dropping the hammer.

Thanks guys and no there is no boost cut/over boost safety feature still, which would be nice to have.
Engine wise it's a stock LS3 with head studs and rod bolts. Still trying to figure out exactly which route I wanna go with the short block. Thinking about destroking the ls3....
In the mean time I will see if a stock long block will go 8's ; )

I'm really waning to 4.8 crank a 6.0 maybe with aluminum rods and some tfs heads and let it spin.... I also have a ls3 setup here and several aluminum 5.3s

Results from track weredecent. Except last pass the trans didn't shift to 2nd. I'm new to auto trans stuff but it shifted fine on return road just didn't engage at full throttle and high rpm on the track Praying it's something simple like linkage or fluid level...

Results were 1/8th

1st pass foot brake 1.55 60' 6.3@115mph (8psi)
2nd pass tbrake (3200) 1.49 60' 6.10@118.5mph (9psi)
3rd pass tbrake (3800) 1.33 60' shift issue, the drop in 60' on the last pass alone woulda put me at my goal (5's) for the first outing.

Also think my converter needs to be tightened

Damn that thing is gonna be nasty once you start dialing it in.. 1.33 60' on the 3rd pass is a good start..

Crazy the PG wouldn't shift.. As simple as those things are.. It must be something simple. Shifter cable or valve body issue or something.

Sub'd for progress..

118 mph on only 9 psi is impressive.. I bet it goes in the mid to high 130 mph range at 20 psi...

I know hopefully it is simple that's why I spent so much on the trans setup, so I wouldn't have to worry about it.

It's geared 3.50 for now, cam is a custom cam from spin monster that was for a h/c setup lol. It will be changed with engine build of course. However it's definitely working. N/A cams worked really well with turbos back in my import days, guess it still holds true.

On a second note, I found the shift problem. Shift linkage was rubbing frame, gonna fix that tomorrow.

Also I bought a torque tube tamer and it's not gonna work without lots of modding. My torque tube sits lower in the tunnel with the glide/9" so I may send it back and just make my own.
